You can do that yourself, it's a chrome extension called distill.Does MR have a little application or something that monitors changes on Apple's website?

I wish it had a picture of Steve Jobs as CEO right now![]()
On the recent keynotes, yes. It's as if he's getting less comfortable, and ended up just reading the text on the slides verbatim. He used to sound more enthusiastic in the past.He always seemed so nervous and awkward though... not a natural public speaker I'd say.
I hope he writes a book and makes this the title.
Is there an app for that?Bring Phil back or we riot. 😅
People who have scripts set up to regularly check pages like this for changes, because they want to report on any changes. You didn't think it was someone sitting there continually refreshing by hand, did you?Who even notices these kind of things? lol
Wait! Wut! This can be automated?People who have scripts set up to regularly check pages like this for changes, because they want to report on any changes. You didn't think it was someone sitting there continually refreshing by hand, did you?
I totally agree, and who cares?
Yes, the Apple Internet team do daily updates & config changes,..how is this news??
Right! Talk about being under the microscopeWho even notices these kind of things? lol
In about a billion different ways. One would be a small shell / Python / Perl / etc script that grabs a copy of a web page (say, using curl), stores it in a temporary file, and compares it against the similar file it made an hour or day (or a few minutes) ago, and if there are differences, alert a human. Run the script repeatedly throughout the day using cron. For bonus points, do the same thing on several dozen websites / web pages of interest each time. And this is just using tools that're already installed on most Macs. There are likely purpose-built tools out there for doing the same thing. It's not rocket science.Wait! Wut! This can be automated?
Sounds just like Tim not using any of the knowledge he learned about making great things from Steve!Has a degree in Biology. Just one of the many people who left college/university with a degree in a subject field they did not use or pursue.
