You must have me confused with someone else. I don't question anyone's choice of operating systems nor do I degrade anyone for voicing complaints.

I'm glad to hear other OSes are smoothing out. I'll never be able to leave iOS as my primary because of the amount of money I have in it but I love to tinker.

Sorry I got that wrong, it was bigcheif that asked that.

Your point about iOS being the smoothest operating system, have you used a windows phone or blackberry? The reason I ask is because they make iOS look like a stuttering slow mess.

No worries.

My last experience with Blackberry was the Pearl (which I loved) so I have no experience with their modern smartphone OS. I did really enjoy My Windows Phone experiment even though it was on a $69 AT&T PAYG Best Buy bargain phone. I'm sure it would be great on a flagship Nokia device but I just have no desire to move away from my 6. Maybe I'll give it a go when I can go to an AT&T store, pick up a Windows Phone and find all of the apps that I use on my iPhone (or an equivalent) in their market.

I am really trying hard to not sound snarky, but seriously? This 'issue' makes people think of dumping the iPhone?

I can remember, not that long ago, entering a birthday into a Palm Pilot and crashing it. And crashing it HARD. The birthday was 2/29/1960, and it's a leap day. The Palm Pilot I had locked up. I had a hard time getting the calendar app to run. I had to remove that entry, and put the entry on the day before.

Now THAT was a bug.

Oh, and to add to the freakout, did you notice that the time overwrites the indicator on the right side?

Should Apple fix this? I suppose. It is rather interesting, but in the 'grand scheme' (and I hate when people say that) it's not a catastrophic bug. It's purely cosmetic. The one on the right side might be a bigger issue if the hot spot for that line doesn't work because of it.

It does look somewhat amateurish. Almost like the screen really doesn't like wide phone number fields. They should have probably truncated it, or provided a horizontal scroll, and fixed the second line at a certain point, and truncated it too.

Will they fix it? You are probably right. Probably not. But they should...

Or they could resize the avatars...

"They have fixed keyboards issues.

Wait... what?!"

I don't know about anyone else... but I still have buggy 3rd party keyboards.

Would this be a satisfactory issue to drive someone back to Android? Just askin...

With 8.3 everything is smoother and faster. They have fixed keyboards issues. But I still get safari crashes and rotation sometimes do not adjust. Battery life seems better. But the free bug experience I had with 6.3 is not here.

And I have a major issue with my plus I never experienced before. Sometimes it powers off and it only powers on ONLY with power and home button combo. I have also done a clean restore and the issue persists.

Since when was there an iOS 6.3...
