Naw I won't resort to saying Apple is doomed.
There's plenty of things to call out Apple on - obsolete-on-arrival computers (that is if they ever arrive at all), hypocritically SJW-ing when it suits them (rest of the world) and silence when it doesn't (China, Saudia Arabia etc), morally and criminally avoiding paying taxes, sh**ty software that's full of bugs, and the list goes ever on.

Apple does copy to some degree too, mostly borrows ideas (ideas can't be copied) but nothing really compares to these copycats. They just steal everything they can, including names if they can get away with it.
Who will confuse Xiaomi Pad for iPad? Ordinary people. You know, the non nerds who do not spend time on tech forums. A nurse who once told me, we have been provided with these iPad's now (she was holding what it looked like BB PlayBook) In the place where I work part time (Manchester Arena) when we do get briefed by officials we get told iPad's are not allowed to be used in the venue) but we know they mean tablets. In other words, you would be surprise how quickly they could get confused with names and terms.
Apple has been sued and lost several copyright lawsuits. So yeah, Apple copies and Apple copies then sues other.
If someone buying something and not looking at the box and check the brand, then too bad. There is no way someone would buy Xiaomi Pad and thinking it is iPad. First of all, the box is different, logo is different and price is different. If someone buying Xiaomi Pad and thinking it is iPad, then he/she is an idiot also the sales person did not do he/her job properly

LOL... Apple was once a near bankrupted company and trillion dollars company can fail and fail quickly. Apple is no exception.
You don't speak here for the entire world, only for yourself. These people check the boxes and prices also. But they may not be quite sure what exactly an iPad may look and they didn't have one before..... they have just heard of it. I find it quite fascinating that people take their nerds knowledge foregrounded. There are lot of people out there who buy things for the first time.
As for Apple copying others, I said they have. But no where near the copycats that blandly rip off everything (including the way some products are advertised) with absolutely no shame. And I am not going to start with names, if you been around for the last 10 years you get the idea.
They called it Mi Pad which is almost the same as iPad. I think Apple had a valid point and the Chinese manufacturer only has to change the name to be in compliance.
Who will confuse Xiaomi Pad and iPad? Maybe nobody. That's why Xiaomi wanted it to be the "Mi Pad" to make it more similar. And excuse me, but where do you get that idea from that Apple has a tiny (I suppose "thiny" means "tiny") market share? I mean "just like its Mac" - you realise that the Mac makes over 50% of all profits in the PC market? That Apple is actually the leader by revenue in the PC market, in the tablet market, and in the phone market?

Apple was once a company that survived because Jobs signed a deal to deliver $25,000 worth of motherboards. So what? Amazon was full of debt and near bankrupt once.

Fact is, Apple makes a shedload of money selling iPads. About the same shedload of money that they make from selling Macs, a lot less than the humongous amount of money they make from selling phones, and more than they make with iPods, Apple TVs, and headphones / earphones.
Most companies in the world make nowhere near as much money by doing what they are doing, as Apple does by selling iPads.
One is pronounced EYE pad, and the i is a common prefix for internet/interactive devices.
The other is pronounced ME pad, and is derived from their company name.
