The screen is very sharp, it's almost as fast as my 2012 MacBook pro, and the battery is a trooper.

Oh, and the shift from the iPad 2 form factor to the Air is amazing. I came from an iPad 2 any I was amazed by the size and weight.

I picked an iPad Air 2 for my wife last week to replace her iPad 3. She had the same sentiments as you did. I would add that the speed boost is a big improvement, no lag on any of the apps. Plus the Touch ID is so convenient!

I just made my first Apple pay purchase in the target app yesterday. So awesome.

I am just amazed at the $50.6 million per store. Each store is bigger (in terms of sales) than most companies in the US (I assume that most small business, which make up the majority of business in the US -- typically under 50 employees -- do not have rvenues over $50 million).

Keep in mind, the $50.6 million is an average. Some stores will be lower, and some higher. Nevertheless, your point is well taken.

What did you buy? How was the process?

Wow.

No sapphire display, soldered mac mini RAM, incremental changes, no real innovation, no real growth.

It's a ghost ship hiring tons of lackluster employees looking to get in and cash out.

Tim Cook really needs to step down.

First post and three likes? Loving the manufactured hate.

Hah great. Glad I waited for the air2. Looking forward to receiving it and starting to use it. Thanks!

I needed a new pair of headphones, so I got a pair of Sennheiser Momentums. Process was easy. I just added it to my cart, and at checkout there was a Apple Pay button. I tapped that, scanned my fingerprint, and the transaction was complete.

Sapphire Display? Consumers couldn't care less.
Soldered MacMini RAM? Again, Consumers couldn't care less.
Incremental Changes? How so?

Hint: ApplePay is the 'next big thing'.

All these profits and growth yet staff still get paid only slightly higher than minimum wage in the UK. Embarrassing. Our soul is our people, yeah right!

Best news regarding Apple in the past years

- Apple spent a total of $6.0 billion on research and development in fiscal 2014, up significantly from the $4.5 billion spent last year...Apple's $6.0 billion investment is the highest level relative to revenues since 2007, which is the year that the iPhone was released.

F ck yeah!

Sometimes I'm down on Cook, other times I think there is more to him than meets the eye. Lately it's been more of the latter. He's a lot more cunning that he seems, I believe. Of course we won't know for years if this R&D is being spent wisely, but that's part of the excitement!
