Hopefully iOS 10 will be a substantial overhaul in both UI and performance. A completely redesigned music app would be welcomed too...

So the bottom line is: when's the iPhone 7 coming? That's all I care about.
What is the iPhone 7 going to have that will make it that much better than the 6S?

You think operating systems need UI redesigns every 3 years? I'd rather see Apple polish what they have than completely overhaul it.

This is my wish list:
One feature is either multiple accounts or at least a guest mode. For example, you should be able to let someone use your iPad without giving them access to everything. .
Not gonna happen. Apple policy is: 1 iPad/person. Wanna let your friends use iPad? Buy another one!

I guess this all but guarantees that the Macbooks launched should have both Skylake and Polaris for the dGPU model. Hopefully we'll see some chassis out soon to suggest the idea that it will also support Rezence in addition to Thunderbolt 3

Too bad it's a week later this year! Hopefully they put that week to good use, haha. I'm interested to see if they add some more pro features to the iPad to make it more of a productivity platform. This is the big 10 year! So who wants to place bets on it being called iOS X? Although if you consider the history of the Mac, the X was a big change involving NeXT and the complete overhaul. It's unlikely we'd see that this year, but anything is possible. It's absolutely crazy that this will be the 10th version of iOS. Where does the time go??
10th version of OSX was rather lame.

9th version of iOS and it looks more or less the same that iOS1. I really hope they bring iOS10 to this decade.

So, now it's Jan 10 in GMT+8 areas.

Is there any public reports about this conference?

By the way, using f.lux half-way when using my MacBook Air is in fact a bad idea. I should use it from the very beginning when using MacBook Air. And oh, I have used over 100MB data this night. :(

iOS 9 looks about the same as iOS 1?

The only thing out of this decade is your reach. iOS 9 looks nothing like 1.

I think you're stuck in 2010.

The current flat and cartoonish UI is starting to look really stale and should be refreshed to better match the current OS X design language.

Plot twist: the spaceship is finished by June and WWDC is the grand opening!

That would be great, except that it's scheduled for completion at the end of 2016, and all this rain we've been getting here in the Bay Area ain't gonna help much in that respect.

One feature is either multiple accounts or at least a guest mode. For example, you should be able to let someone use your iPad without giving them access to everything. Siri should also be updated with new voice and more capabilities (at least keep up with the others). It would also be nice to search for broad categories like "Games" and the home screen will show just games. Or show me apps I opened up last week.
Multiple accounts on iPad is in beta but requires advanced configuration.

Each June, Apple holds its Worldwide Developers Conference at the Moscone West convention center in San Francisco, California, giving thousands of developers from around the world a chance to meet up with Apple engineers and sit in on valuable workshops and software sessions.

Apple has not yet announced the dates for its 2016 conference, but based on scheduling information available from the Moscone Center, it appears there's only one narrow window that's potentially available -- June 13 to June 17.

Dates in red are unavailable at Moscone West

During the first, second, fourth, and fifth weeks of June, Moscone West is booked for a Travel Association Luncheon, a Biotechnology Industry Organization conference, an International Society for Stem Cell Research convention, and the Red Hat Summit. There's nothing on the calendar for the third week of June, suggesting that's when Apple will use the facility.

Since 2007, Apple has held WWDC during the first few weeks of June, and the conference has always taken place at Moscone West due to the large number of attendees, so while there's no concrete information pointing towards Apple's WWDC plans, June 13 to 17 is a very solid guess based on past events.

At WWDC, Apple holds a keynote event on the first day to introduce new software and new products. In 2016, we could potentially see new Macs or other hardware, and we will get our first look at OS X 10.12 and iOS 10. Apple's 2015 event was software and service centric, focusing on iOS 9, OS X El Capitan, watchOS 2, and Apple Music.

Apologies for the insanely new user question: the red 'blocked out shading' you have on the calendar - is that just photoshop'd on, or is this something you can do in calendar? Many thanks in advance....

Conventions also require nearby hotel capacity and transportation (whether public or available rental cars), which SF has. As cool as it would be to be at their campus, I doubt that will ever happen.

If they really wanted, they could pay them to reschedule right?

Given this feature is in iOS 9.3 for Educaitonal use - home use shouldn't be that far behind.
