Every year, Apple typically holds three or four events to unveil new products. There's often a spring event around March or April, the Worldwide Developers Conference in June, a September event focused on the iPhone and Apple Watch, and sometimes, an October or November event that features Macs and iPads.

In this guide, we're tracking the Apple events that are on the horizon, including what we're expecting to see at each one. Make sure to check in regularly, because we'll be updating this guide on a regular basis.

Fall 2025 Event

Most of Apple's major product refreshes are finished for the year, but there are still a few devices that we are expecting before the end of 2025. A second fall event isn't guaranteed, but it is a definite possibility. Rumors suggest that Apple will introduce some devices with the M5 chip, and new Apple silicon chips have historically been unveiled at events.

If we do get a second fall event, it could take place toward the end of October, likely around the 27th or 28th. If there isn't an event, the new products will be unveiled via press releases on Apple's website.

Apple TV 4K

The Apple TV will get an Apple-designed Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip, which is likely the N1 that debuted in the iPhone models. It's also expected to get a faster A17 Pro processor that will enable console-quality games on the Apple TV. There are no design changes rumored for the next-generation Apple TV.

HomePod mini

Apple will refresh the HomePod mini in late 2025, adding a faster S-series chip (likely the S10) and the same Apple-designed Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip that's coming to the Apple TV. New color options are also likely.

AirTag 2

The AirTag 2 that's coming in 2025 could have a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip for improved range, allowing the AirTag to be located from further away. Apple is also going to make the speaker harder to remove, so the AirTag won't be able to be used for secret tracking with no sound alerts.

iPad Pro

The next-generation iPad Pro will have an M5 chip and 12GB RAM minimum, though the higher storage options will likely continue to offer 16GB RAM like the current models. No design changes are expected, and Apple will unveil 11-inch and 13-inch size options.

Vision Pro 2

Apple is planning to update the Vision Pro headset with a faster M5 chip, replacing the M2 chip that's in the current version. The M5 chip is faster and will speed up Vision Pro performance, but there won't be any changes to the design. Apple will debut a new band, though, which should be more comfortable than the current Solo Knit and Dual Loop bands. Based on hidden code, it's called the Dual Knit Band, and it could feature two soft, knit straps. One strap will go around the back of the head, and the other will distribute weight at the top of the head.

MacBook Pro

There have been some recent signs of a new MacBook Pro model with M5 chip, but rumors about the timing of the MacBook Pro launch have been unclear. It could come in late 2025 or early 2026. It's possible that we'll get a lower-cost 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M5 chip and Apple will introduce M5 Pro and M5 Max versions at a later date. It's also entirely possible that we'll get all three chip variants at an October event.

Products Coming in Early 2026

iPhone 17e

The iPhone 16e came out in early 2025, so it makes sense that a second-generation version is rumored for early 2026. The iPhone 17e could feature an updated A19 chip that matches the chip in the iPhone 17.

MacBook Air

The MacBook Air will be refreshed with an M5 chip, and it will also likely get Apple's N1 networking chip. No design changes are rumored.

iPad Air

The iPad Air is due for an update in early 2025. Apple has so far given it an M-series chip one generation behind the current chip in the iPad Pro, so with the iPad Pro set to get the M5, the iPad Air could get the M4.

Low-Cost iPad

The low-cost iPad is due for a refresh with an updated A-series chip. Apple doesn't make major changes to the iPad often, so it isn't clear if there will be any design updates.

Apple Display

Apple could introduce a new version of the Studio Display in 2026. Rumors suggest the next-generation version will have a mini-LED display with improved contrast and HDR, but the same 27-inch display size. It could also get the A19 Pro chip that's in the iPhone 17 Pro models.

Mac Pro

Apple plans to update the Mac Pro sometime in 2026. It will be equipped with the highest-end version of the M4 chip, which could be either an "Ultra" or "Extreme" M4 chip. The Mac Pro is also expected to support up to 512GB Unified Memory, a new maximum.

Products With Unknown Release Dates

There are some upcoming products that have a less clear launch date.

Mac mini

There are no specific rumors of a Mac mini refresh, but if the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro are getting M5 chips, the Mac mini is likely to see an update too.

Mac Studio

There are also no rumors about a Mac Studio update, but it could be refreshed alongside the Mac Pro and the Mac mini. There are rumors of a new display coming in 2026, and it would make sense for the display to come out alongside new Apple desktop machines.

Smart Home Command Center

Apple is working on a smart home display that will serve as a central hub for controlling smart home products. It's said to measure in at around six inches by six inches, and the idea is to have multiple in the home. The device will run Apple apps, and it will be able to be used for FaceTime calls. The Command Center was initially expected in the spring, but with delays to Siri Apple Intelligence fe... Click here to read rest of article

Rumors have said that Apple won't include these announcements in the event because of its focus on services, but it's still possible we'll hear a few words about them, and if not, Apple could choose to release all of these updates shortly after the event via press release.
Hah, even iOS devices are going to be relegated to the sidelines like the Mac in favor of the new hotness: boring services revenue. Please Apple, don't become a boring company. Leave that to Elon Musk.

Intense navel gazing. Lineup of politically correct, no violence, no cursing, bland video content. iPad and iPad mini speed bumps. New iPod. News subscription service

Fluff.
Fluff.
Emojis.
Reheated leftovers.

So nothing for professional computer users yet again.
What a surprise.

Meanwhile, my new hackintosh is working like a powerhouse dream.

Same here! I really wanted a new Mac Pro after owning a 2006 and 2009 Mac Pro but the processors and especially the GPUs in them were hot garbage. I can't believe that building your own computer for 1/4th the price would get you a better performing computer than a 'legit' Apple Mac computer.

The Hackintosh has easily been my favourite computer and one that's given me the most use. I've had it for 4 years now and I still don't have any plans to upgrade any time soon OTHER than the GPU (would love a GTX 1070 or something better, but my 980 is still more than adequate).

If it's anything like all their recent events, we can expect a lot of dissapointment.

We? You can speak for yourself, I always look forward to these types of events, because generally, we really never know what to expect, and any hardware is merely a bonus for an event that may not necessarily be solely focused on hardware like the fall keynote is. Try staying open minded, that way you don’t set yourself up for disappointment for something that’s not guaranteed.

What?

How can you say that with a straight face on THIS website knowing that a plethora of articles written about the keynotes typically feature almost everything about them prior to.

There isn’t any hardware guaranteed to be launching in this event, we don’t know specifically what/when will launch regarding the AirPods, iPad mini, iPod, etc. There’s nothing slated to launch for this specific keynote, again, any hardware is merely a bonus, aside from services side of things for this keynote. Fall keynotes, we obviously can expect more hardware given their tradition.

How DARE you question their COURAGE?!? The courage to rip off their clients! The courage to make less and less reliable hardware at more and more absurd prices! The courage to make 'Pro' products that are useless for actual working professionals! The courage to make each MacOS iteration that much worse than the previous one!

I ask again, How dare you question their courage?!?

If AAPL was being run by an Average Joe, AAPL would focus on ONE thing & ONE thing ONLY for it's Video Steaming Service ... High-Bit-Rate 1080p "Live Sports" !

AND, that Average Joe's "strategy" would generate more Excitement & Enthusiasm than any "copy-cat" service AAPL will announce on March 25th !
