You talked about a poor economy, with regards to Apple products such a thing does not exist.

Anyone who would chose a Mac Studio for this reason alone has obviously no money problems.

So you do wait. Apple doesn't care in which year you purchase their luxury products. Right now only 4% of all Mac desktop sales are Mac minis.

o_O Wow, I had no idea they were selling that many Mac Pros. Those things aren't exactly cheap. I am also surprised they're selling so few Mac Minis. I'm surprised, in part, because I just bought a Mini.

I just don't believe those numbers...

Good grief,

This really isn't getting us anywhere, is it?

Anyway.

Have a nice day.

Wow... where did you get this? I've been looking for data like this for a while. Would be even better if they included color/model info.

43% of Mac desktops sold are Mac Pros? You don't find that surprising?
Let's assume the numbers are correct. At this point during the transition the Mac Pro is the last Intel-based Mac in the lineup, apart from an overpriced and underpowered i5 Mac mini. So it's representing the entirety of Intel's legacy regardless of form factors and performance classes and yet it still sells less than the 24" M1 iMac from May 2021. And that's just one of many flavors in which you can buy an M1.

PS: The surprising part should be that the Mac mini and Mac Studio are not in demand at all. And in turn the Studio Display also can't be the 27" iMac replacement people make it to be.
