If you have more than 1 Mac or iOS device, the seamless switching can't be beat.

The 65t's can be connected to 2 devices at once, but I can seamlessly switch between my iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or my Macs with a tap of a button. Haven't seen this kind of congruency with other bluetooth products yet.
The Bose Soundsport do the same thing. Press a button to switch devices.

The powerbeats work well with Apple devices but there is no button, you have to select via the bluetooth menu, so a bit clumbsy.

No not really. They don't switch between multiple devices like AirPods. I had the SoundSport Wireless... you can only pair 2 devices at a time. It'll remember up to 8 though. Here's the process: https://www.bose.com/en_us/support/article/managing-multiple-connected-devices.html

Reconnecting a previously paired device
Press the Power/Bluetooth® button to hear which device is connected

Press the Power/Bluetooth button again within three seconds to connect to the next device in the headphone pairing list. Repeat until you hear the correct device name

Play audio on the connected device

With AirPods I can be listening to music on my iPhone and then switch over to my Mac and then switch over to my Watch if I go for a walk... no need to resync or scroll through a devices list with a squishy button.

How do you switch between devices with the Airpods? The only way I am aware of is through control centre. I had the powerbeats 3 and this was the only option.

Also, I have 6 devices, Win10 PC, iPad, iMac, etc and the Bose switches between with a press of a button, the powerbeats 3 however! :(

"Sound quality is one area where the AirPods fall short"

erm, what now?

so basically these are crap at doing the primary job of outputting good sound?

why would you buy those AirPods if they aren't very good? I don't get it.

I didn't say that the AirPods aren't very good - they're just fine.

I have both the AirPods and the Jabra Elite 65T. They both fill different purposes for me.
AirPods are simply more convenient and I use them day-to-day more than the Jabras. Sound quality is good, but they are basically useless in almost any public setting -- the lack of sound isolation makes them hard to hear in any environment with noise.

The Elite 65T has its quirks. The case is not very good (awful latch and doesn't use magnets to hold the buds in place), and they take a bit of time to adjust in your ear to make a proper seal. But once they're in your ears and setup properly, they blow the AirPods away in sound quality and isolation. They are perfect for the gym...

This matches with my experience as well.
