Hey Guys,

Waiting it out can be really difficult, but the reward is incredible. I always advise young people to 'just wait', because nothing can compare to experiencing it for the first time with a codec you love. (H.264) :D

So, for those of you brave enough enough to attempt staying spoiler free, here are a few tips:

1) Make sure to change your browser's home page to a blank page. Especially if you currently have Apple.com, Top Websites, or a news website.

2) Temporarily disable tech/news blogs from updating in your RSS reader.

3) If you can, filter/block all e-mails from Apple. Very often they send out an e-mail afterwards to advertise their new product(s). If you can't filter, just don't pay attention to the subject line of any e-mails sent by Apple.

4) Don't go on facebook/twitter/AIM/MSN. People will inevitably be talking about it.

5) Don't tell people you are trying to go spoiler free-- especially your tech geek friends. They will think it's funny to ruin it for you.

6) Avoid going out/television/the internet in general if you can. It's incredible how everybody is talking about Apple after every keynote/event.

7) For sanity reasons, plan something constructive to do with your time waiting in isolation. The spoiler-free keynote can take up to 6 hours until it's available.

8) Only trust Voidness to provide the link for the spoiler free keynote.

Finally, don't forget to be respectful and not ruin it for others.

Nice tips. Here's one more, the MacRumors iPhone 4.0 Spoiler Free Page is not really a spoiler free page; because the bottom of the page has links to Recent MacRumors Stories, and any unclicked link itself has the potential to contain spoilers. When visiting the spoiler free page, don't scroll down.

Oh man! Good catch. I hope they fix that.

How can we guarantee someone won't blab out something we don't want to hear?

Presumably they have one or more mods on the page ready to swoop in and remove such material. And then promptly impose a life ban on the offender and his IP.

Since this is an open forum, I guess it's impossible to guarantee that the situation cannot arise that someone posts a spoiler and you read it before the mods get to it.

But such blowhards are few and far between. :) Have faith in humanity

Ya, we'll get arn to fix that before the event.

Greetings everyone! Here we go again... :D

Hoping to have that magical script of yours ready on time, Voidness.

Always appreciate the spoiler-free thing here, however, considering how long it took for Apple to post video after the last event, I'm going all-out-spoiler this time. :)

The new OS for the iphone is not due out till June anyways, so whats the big deal ?

It seem's apple has there hands full enough with iPad issues and the release of new Macbook's and Pro's .

Dont get me wrong I love Apple and there products and services, but sometimes all this hype gets to be a little on the ridiculous side.

We all know that you will be here when the keynote starts :) hang in there!

Sadly, we can't. Usually the bigger the news, the more it gets spoilt. Cue people who say stuff like:

"I don't like the name"

"I thought there'd be more"

"Meh, I just switched on the news and saw it damn, wait till you hear about xxxx feature"

"You guys are idiots. It's obvious that XXXXXX will be announced"

But, I still have faith in people and that this time things will be truly spoiler free. *crosses fingers*

It's obvious what features are being announced right now. Just look at all the features every other smart phone (excluding apple) has. Those are the features being introduced.

We don't care. We are not here to discuss what may or may not be introduced today.

Sorry if you misunderstood, I don't want to discuss it either. I'm just letting you know.

Well that's my point. Unless you're letting us know the video is up, we don't want to hear it. If you're spoiler free too then whatever, but the way you were saying it made it sound like you you'd seen the news and you were dropping hints. That would definitely count as a spoiler.

You better be joking.
