I got a pair of Beats free with my phone and I think the sound quality is decent at best. I have a pair of Sony on-ear headphones that cost me a mammoth £24.99 and the sound quality is better, the AKG In-ear I got free with my Note 8 sound better, heck even the EarPods that come with iPhone sound better. They’re not even in the same ballpark as my Audio Technica which also retail for less.

It’s all about the branding.

Vatican City.

Europe for example. I've heard Greece are interested but UK, France, Italy, Spain, Germany for example.
Nothing. There are teams for sure, but it's very much a niche market.

In France they know Tony Parker because he's French and does interviews but you'd have to subscribe to a specialist channel to watch a game and you'd never hear the results of matches on the news anywhere.

As far as the headphones go- 2 pairs of beats and a pod all dead in under a year.
Sound quality about the same as a €35 pair I have. Also less lag.
They do come in incredibly beautiful packaging however.
I'd never buy a pair again.
My old Sennhieser are much better. Audio technica probably best sound for value, and the Bose are really really good but dear.
People knock Bose but they are well made, the noise cancelling is class leading and the sound is excellent.

Would this mean people in NBA getting banned for wearing Beats headphone on the basketball court?

You're full of it and you know it bud. Also, we all know AKG and Sony are exactly the same as "no name" brands huh...
All in all, all I got from you is blah blah blah blah... oh, and blah.

I think this is a good match, especially with LeBron having an ownership stake in Beats. I have had a few pair of studios and like them. I had a few of the early pairs but the newer Apple wireless Studios are nice. I mostly wear my AirPods but still enjoy my Beats.

You don’t own a pair, yet are opining about the sound quality?

I own a pair of BeatsX. The sound quality is fine....nothing spectacular. The build quality is utterly terrible....I’m on my fifth pair since they were released: two with Bluetooth connection issues, one with a speaker issue and one with a power button issue. Thankfully, the Apple Store has exchanged them every time without batting an eye.

To all the people who are complaining that Beats sound quality isn't good: Huh?

They're actually very good. Of course, it depends on the type of music you listen to, but I find them to be really good for a lot of different genres.

And no, I don't own a pair of Beats. I'm more of the AirPods type.

Don’t like beats. I had a pair of Beats solos. They sound muddy and aren’t comfortable. Dr Dre is not a nice person.

How about NFL Partnership with Colin Kaepernick using Beats.

I disagree that it’s a global sport, the US, Canada and to a certain extent in China. That’s it. In Europe basket ball isn’t even shown on tv you have to pay for a special subscription to watch it. However that doesn’t matter. It’s such a big deal in the US and that’s enough.

Beats has crappy quality for the high price (though I have spent over 600 bucks for two pairs of Beats headphones - just because they look the best). I may need to pick up another pair for my gym. I hope one day Apple will make a cool design for their rumored headphones.
Beware of purchasing Beats for the gym... I had PB wireless and went through 6 units in 8 months (became a running joke at the Apple store). Finally they said "Look, these aren't made for serious athletic workouts like yours so we're giving your money back"... I'm like WTF? So LeBron and the NBA are just a bunch of wannabe athletes? Doubt that. Anyway every time I go into the Apple Store I ask if they've heard of any internal improvements for "real athletes"... they haven't heard of any as of last week (note I've been asking for ~18 months).
