I'm old enough to remember, when referring to an ESPN branded mobile phone, Steve Jobs said:

“Your phone is the dumbest f * * * ing idea I have ever heard”

...and now Apple is selling NBA branded headphones.
An ESPN phone still sounds pretty dumb. Why would anyone want an ESPN branded phone? I think Jobs was onto something there.

Beats have some inherent design flaws that many users have complained about, you can see the reviews on Apple, Amazon, Best Buy and various other internet sites. The longer Beats neglects to take care of the quality issues with their headsets the more it will continue to tarnish their reputation. They do make some good products here and there but the beats headsets I no longer like. I have owned various Beats headsets and have returned all of them for one reason or another. Many of those issues you can read in reviews.

Simply Throwing out more colors and saying "NBA Collection" is not going to work much longer for Beats on the headphone line. Yeah Looks sell, but quality and durability are what people have bashed them for so much. I love the way they look and the color selection's, don't get me wrong, but they need to fix the issues which is my whole my point. There are always a million ways you can sell a turd.

I wonder if these still shipping with micro USB connectors?

Apple's Beats by Dre brand today unveiled a new NBA collection, with Beats Studio 3 Wireless Headphones available in six colorways representing the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Raptors, and Boston Celtics.

Each pair of headphones is a different color with subtle same-color logo branding for each NBA team.

The NBA Collection Studio 3 Wireless Headphones are priced at $349 and offer the same features as all other Beats Studio 3 Wireless headphones such as a W1 chip for pairing, 22 hours of battery life, Pure Adaptive Noise Canceling, and more.

Apple announced a Beats by Dre partnership with the NBA back in September, which makes Beats by Dre the official headphone, wireless speaker, and audio partner of the NBA and sister associations WNBA, NBA G League, and USA Basketball.

In addition to offering NBA-themed headphones for fans, Beats will also provide headphones for players and advertise during major events like the NBA All-Star, NBA Draft, international games, WNBA games, and more.

Great arguments too...

Judging from your gear list below your name, I've spent around 3x the amount. But let's not compare our possessions, it's sad, like your 6 year old MacBook Air lol.
I wasn’t speaking to actual cost. I just said your set looks cheap in relation to tour tacky comment. My MacBook Air running great though and looks fantastic. 6 years on!

C'mon now...how many times are they going to "remix" these headphones?

It's time for Apple to come out with a new version of the Studio headphones. Better batter life, better sound, better noise cancellation.

I believe that Apple's engineers can in the same way they did some sort of "signal processing" to improve picture quality in the iphone, they can do the same for music.
