All I could think of:

You missed out the Apple pencil and Magic Mouse charging shots, and the collection of docks, dongles and new cables you need to use a 2016 MBP with existing peripherals.

I got one of these MacBook pros, using it for video editing and photography and loving it. Guess how much cables and dongles do I have? 1. Guess how I am coping having the work done? Brilliant.
I just happen to be one of these guys who can't be bothered bitching about issues that do not effect me that much.

I am SO super cool!

I build a dental office and there are no thresholds on any of the doors. No wonder I have such laser focus during the day - I'm not having my train of thought broken by stepping over a door threshold.

Who knew?

"issues that do not effect me that much." They don't affect you, but they clearly effect many of others who complain.

I'm currently doing the same thing in my WHOLE apartment.

We're awesome.

One of the most vexing features was the doorways, which Apple wanted to be perfectly flat, with no threshold. The construction team pushed back, but Apple held firm.

The rationale? If engineers had to adjust their gait while entering the building, they risked distraction from their work, according to a former construction manager.

If you have to walk differently to enter a doorway with a non-flat perimeter, you're doing something wrong.

EDIT: Or, uh, erm…
I think you're confusing "threshold" for "door frame".

Whoops.

This is what separates Apple from the rest.

Haters hate for what they believe to be arbitrary detail, but when all put together make the sum of beautiful aesthetic.

Blandness normally cannot understand the levels of work involved in forward thinking creatives.

As always, after the pain staking detail and money that goes into being original, and enduring hate from jealous upholders of mediocrity, said wannabes soon follow suit with their copycat, I mean 'ideas' inspired by Apple.
I don't think Samsung will rip-off a building...

You should be careful when throwing stones, your glass house might not survive it.;)

Triton, come on man. You obviously know @theluggage is talking about the location of the charging ports - since this discussion is about attention to detail - and not about charging time. The deflection is unnecessary. The stylus sticking out at a right angle from the iPad and the port on the bottom of the mouse aren't evidence of attention to detail.
Hi, wasn't sure what you meant by your glass houses comment but re the charging critique, my point is it's only a 20 or so seconds charge with the pencil so I don't see the issue. If you had to leave it there for half an hour I would think it was an issue. What other options would there be? A tethered cable? More or less elegant? Wireless? More costly? Bigger pencil to compensate for this?

I am a heavy pro user. OSX Etc are intuitive and well thought out.

The only reservations I have are over Apple Music which could be much better laid out. I have not however, come across one of your 'bugs'.

So no, my world is very realistic and far from fantastical, though some of the comments here really make me doubt that.

So just because you haven't encountered a problem that means it doesn't exist?

Apple, like every other company out there, makes mistakes with their products sometimes whether it be a software issue or a design fault.

For example there are people who encountered battery issues on their iPhone 6s. Apple did a recall for these and admitted there was a problem with their product. That's one of many examples of problems people have had recently.

That's not to say that Apple are rubbish. Quite the opposite actually but to imply there are no issues with any Apple products is just ridiculous.

It's amazing how many people visiting an Apple-related website can be so ignorant about the thinking behind Apple's design decisions.

The Magic Mouse can go for weeks or months without recharging, so the placement of its charging port is a minor inconvenience that allows for the sleek design you will be staring at 99.9% of the time.

The 2016 MBP eliminated a gaggle of different ports for a single unifying standard. Instead of being limited to the specific ports included on your computer, and their predefined locations, you can now plug almost any number of accessories of almost any type on either side of the computer. The dongles are a temporary inconvenience until adoption of USB-C becomes more widespread.

If only they had the same attention to detail for their own products. It's been months now that I cannot simply turn on Bluetooth on my iPhone without the need to redo it two or three times because it simply doesn't work the first time. There are many, many othere examples of obvious bugs that go unrepaired for far too long.

THIS and customer service that also is fanatical about details and making things right, rather than making things so very darn wrong.

Priorities seriously need to be rethought on a lot of levels.

I sure would want to have a (physical) tour of the place sometime.
Hopefully they will have a 15-20 minute presentation in one of their Apple Events.
There will be the exclusive, prime time 60-Minutes episode, a large portion of a keynote (if not it's own keynote) devoted to the campus, a self-produced documentary... Apple will be talking about this. A lot. As they should.

I'm sure it will be an amazing and beautiful creation when complete. But that doesn't necessarily make it a good piece of architecture.

Architecture is about more than just aesthetics. Anyone who's read up on the original plans for the new Apple HQ know that it was designed in part to coax employees from different areas and backgrounds to bump into each other during the day, which Jobs felt was essential in fostering creativity and sharing of ideas.

Additionally the building is designed to hide ugly parking lots underground, leaving lushly landscaped (and eco-friendly) public areas above.

lol.... cool... a year and a half talking noting but door handles...

Apple's always been strict with their rules, but i never knew they were like that is their buildings as well.

What a pity that same attention to detail missed the 2016 15" Macbook redesign . . . to say nothing of the Mac Pro, Mac Mini, and iMac. Apparently Apple has forgotten it makes them.
