Does anyone else think these iFold iPhones are horrible or is it just me?
Meh, it's a thing - Android foldables have been around for years already, I don't see the point personally but it seems there's a market for expensive bricks with double-sided displays that open up for, well, some reason.

Call me a simpleton, I just want something light with a battery that lasts all day.

Any guess on pricing?

iPhone PRO MAX + iPad mini in one device = "iPhone Bend" @ $3000?
$3K is a different psychological price point and it’s a tough sell. $2,500 is more reasonable, maybe the top spec model will go for $2,999.

As someone who bought the first-generation iPad back in the day, I'm interested in this device, but I will absolutely be waiting until the second generation...

The Apple folding phone. Brought to you with Google AI and Samsung parts.

And look, I know Apple regularly sources parts from Samsung and Sony. It's just for a laugh.

Samsung is such a giant company that the part of Samsung that's making phone parts for Apple probably can't even provide those parts to the part making phones.

Samsung makes everything from cargo ships to TV's. If they make the parts to Apple's spec and provide them in quantity at the right price, of course Apple would use them.

Still funny, though.

I know this is a rumors site and all, but I'm so sick of hearing about this very device at this point
Remember that we had rumors about Neo about a year beforehand.

I look forward to the post of that one guy who buys it, returns it for a benign reason, posts that reason here and the 20 pages of opinions that follow after that.

We have all known this for years, How is this new news? Samsung has been making most of Apples iPhone Displays for years already.

If Apple sources from Samsung, why should the display on the iPhone "fold" be any better than that on Samsung's own folding phones? In particular. why the should join/crease be any less noticeable?

Is it because Samsung will make a higher-spec display for Apple?
Its just like the 16 Pro/PM display is made by Samsung, and it had the thinnest bezels of any Samsung Display. Apple pays big money for Samsung to make their displays, and have for years, and Apple ensures to get some new features first

You need an updated Mini!

You don't honestly belive that? The fact they all form under the one samsung group of company means that they are very much in the know.
I am not saying they aren't in the know, I am just saying Samsung isn't only using Samsung components

Why are Apple processors better than competitors who also use TSMC?

It’s a mistake to think Apple is buying off-the-shelf Samsung displays rather than getting Samsung to build displays to their specifications (as they’ve been doing for some time).

Is this a surprise to anyone? Isn't samsung one of their main display manufacturers and they have a track record with foldable phones

Samsung will of course have a phone using this same display out in July. Just a matter of if Apple comes out in the fall, winter, or spring. Seems to be a lot of debate about that at the moment.

Imagine if Apple had bought LG’s rollable OLED display tech patents and mass produced them for iPhones and iPads! However, it would cost as much as the Lisa!
