If Apple sources from Samsung, why should the display on the iPhone "fold" be any better than that on Samsung's own folding phones? In particular. why the should join/crease be any less noticeable?

Is it because Samsung will make a higher-spec display for Apple?
Because Samsung has created a basically no crease display. Samsung also has different divisions. They aren’t same as Samsung mobile

Does anyone else think these iFold iPhones are horrible or is it just me?
I’ll wait until it is released, then i go to the nearest Apple Store to check it out, and then I’ll know if there is anything horrible about it besides the price. I did the same for iOS 26 and found that everything but the price was horrible. At this time, I do see a potential for the iPhone Fold to unfold a potential for being a useful device.

Samsung makes excellent displays. Also Samsung has been making foldable screens for its foldables for a long time. They will no doubt be excellent screens for the iPhone Fold.
