Apple's Futuristic Thriller 'See' Premieres in California Ahead of Apple TV+ Launch

I saw the preview and thought hilarious

they had the main characters, saying these kids are special, they can see

how the hell could they tell that!!!

All of these Apple TV+ premieres have had a very staged, non-organic feel to them.

Everything Apple does is staged and calculated.

This could be fun for about 3 episodes as the show explores the desperate, creative, and clever ways that a blind population struggles to survive. But after the novelty has worn off, I don't "see" where this could go. I guess the newly born kids with vision will be persecuted and the show will serve as a proxy for not-like-me-phobia, but I'm not sure that's enough... It's a theme that has been explored many, many times before.

Wait until it opens. I promise, PROMISE, some people will complain about this show appropriating and/or trivializing the lives of blind or “non-sighted” people.
