I'm scared to see what the price increase will be, if it really has pretty much every features from the iPad Pro it's gonna be awesome but not at any price...

Entry line iPad Air 2 is already 499 euros in my country...

So spring line up will be something like this: iPad mini 4 from $399, iPad Air 2 from $499, 9.7" iPad Pro from $599 or $699 and 12.9" iPad Pro from $799. Not bad after all

Coming next year, the iPad Mini Pro!
This is you.

How do they give the 9.7" iPad a full size keyboard. Going to be pretty cramped, no?

I'm guessing it's either a mini keyboard, or it folds over onto itself. Thus it would be thicker when folded, but still more portable than the 12.9" Pro.

All good..!
Now we need an iOSPRO.. To complete the package,, with user manageable file sys, easy file transfer ..etc...
A less limiting iOS version.

And i think apple can market this iOSPRO as an upgrade for pro useres and charge for it.
I will pay in a blink of an eye!

And we need more robust, comprehensive pro apps...
Maybe more ram will help this area.

Sounds like a strange thing to do unless it's going to be a fair bit more expensive than the current air. If the price turns out to be roughly the same it makes the current Pro look very expensive for just a larger screen.

Too bad all the RAM and A9X wont make but a smidge of real world difference. Theres an app problem at Apple with the iPad that no hardware or name changing or A17X processor or 16GB of RAM can fix. Apple needs to partner with developers. Why is facebook a partner and NOT have split screen? Or Apple Music for that matter?? Why No PIP for Netflix. These are the top apps that millions of people use every day on iPad. They should have been partnering with developers months before split screen was announced to get these apps rolling. Of course developers have some responsibility as well but Apple needs to push their platform. It's clear developers aren't in any rush due to declining iPad sales. Its a catch 22 problem that Apple created. The same reason there are millions of iPad 2 users out there.

So...iPad Pro mini? Guessing they want to keep a "Pro" price on the new iPad ;)

Also, I'm hating the inconsistency in Apple product names lately. The MacBook is more "Air" than the MacBook Air. 5se that's like a 6s mini.

The 12.9" also has a higher resolution, and likely longer battery life. My guess is that they price it at $599 for 32GB, which is $200 less than the 32GB 12.9" model. If you want LTE, you'll need to get the 128GB model.

Perhaps they will phase out the "Air" altogether. I can see the MacBook line going back to simply MacBook and MacBook Pro. Similarly, perhaps they'll phase out the iPad Air or just call it the iPad.

this is so dumb! like whats the point? I have an iPad Pro and the ipad air should stay in its own look and feel.
