The new cases are being made available for iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max, and they can be purchased from Apple's online store for $49 or at Apple's retail stores.

Apple regularly refreshes the available colors of its case options designed for the iPhone, and this latest spring update comes alongside the announcement of a new Yellow color option for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.

The new iPhone case colors are available to order in-store now, with online orders arriving Thursday, March 9 at the earliest.

have they updated the build quality on these? I bought a 12 Pro in November 2021 and I’m on my second silicon case and it’s falling apart. It’s going to take me 3 cases to get through to a 15 Pro this fall.

Sucks because the look and feel makes it my favorite case.

I was hoping for the deep violet purple that was leaked. Also, no new watch bands?

Never mind. See new bands.

You are at least getting these replaced for free under warranty right? I had a similar problem with the leather case. Feels nice, not durable or protective at all. Actually cracked along a line across the power and volume buttons. But they did replace it.

same, got a red silicon and it start falling apart within 2 months, the silicon is grippy but very easy to take a chunk off especially towards the edge.

I have to say, I've not been terribly impressed with my Apple silicone case. I previously had one of their leather cases, and that thing took a BEATING over several years, and just developed a nice patina. Ultimately broke near the lightning connector.

Replaced it with a Pela case, which has also been super durable.

Bought an Apple silicone case when I got my 13 mini, thinking it would be at least as durable as the leather case, but less than 6 months in, it's already chipping on the inner corners, and the phone literally never leaves the case.

My phones end up pretty beat up cosmetically after two years using the silicone cases. I went back to an Otterbox.

until this day, I still don't understand why a silicon case costs $50.

It is not just silicone. Firstly it fits the iPhone really well, the buttons are easy to press and it also has a soft lining on the inside and an extra MagSafe magnet. I have tried a few other cheaper cases, but always run into a problem with the fit, finish or yellowing for transparent TPU ones. So for me they are well worth it.

I prefer Otterbox's offering. I have their more ruggedized case for my 14PM. One of the pieces of plastic inside the frame where the included belt holster clips in broke away and I contacted customer service. They replaced it without question. I was very very happy with their customer service.

This case was about $60 on CrAmazon. It's not for everyone. It's bulky and somewhat heavier than other cases. But I'm 6' 3" and 270 lbs so what's a few grams here and there?
