Still $20 too expensive. I bought a iPhone 15 Pro Max Spigen “Ultra Hybrid S magfit” clear case 2 years ago for $25 and it still looks new. Amazon has the same for this year’s model for $20.

Same. I just want a silicon bumper case for my new 17 Pro, but I can’t find one anywhere. Surely someone makes one. I’m going naked until I find one.
Last night when I went to the Apple Store to look at the new iPhones, I was surprised to see that Apple's current bumper case is polycarbonate instead of silicone. About the only current source I was able to find online for bumpers made mostly or largely of silicone is ClixCase / Exoticase (https://www.etsy.com/listing/4346026362/colorful-silicone-bumper-frame), and some other smaller manufacturers that list on Etsy.

I think this is honestly a great deal for 10% off right now, particularly the TechWoven. It's a great product (so far, at least) and if you like the texture, which has really grown on me, I doubt third-party cases will pull it off as well.

Also, an added plus (if you can get Apple to pay up) is that all their cases do come serialized and have a limited 1 year warranty after date of purchase. (Or, if your iPhone that would fit the case has active AppleCare, the case is covered as long as that iPhone is covered – yes, I verified this with Apple support just yesterday.)

Your mileage may definitely vary whether you can get Apple to replace the case or not, as the in-store Genius repair manual actually does cover cases and they have pretty detailed internal pictures and guidelines of what counts and what doesn't. But if you call Apple Care Support, they ask fewer questions (in my experience, at least) and are able to ship you a replacement case and you ship the old case back.

Instances in which the material (like the silicone) is peeling off the body of the case are usually regarded by Apple to be more warranty-able than, say, instances in which you have a dent on the corner of the case clearly from a drop and a chunk of the case has come off because of it. Instances where the buttons are too sticky or are coming off/failing could also be more warranty-able. I've gotten cases replaced by Apple twice now because of this. Just save your receipt and maybe the box because it does come with the serial number printed on the box that matches the serial number engraved/etched inside the case!

But others have had experiences where Apple totally refuses service on the case. See here lol.

Good info. I too think the TechWoven cases are pretty nice, both in their looks, feel, and how solidly built they are. But I'm wondering if that solid, thick build might trap heat more than some other cases, though the better internal temperatures of the 17 models (or just the Pros?) might make up for that.

I had no issue with the 16 pro silicone case on a year of daily use.

To each their own - I think the feel of it being so rubberized (and how much dust/lint it attracts) is really personal preference which is why reviews are so split.

After using it for a year with my 16 Pro Max, I am switching away from it and never going back. Certainly missing the Apple leather cases.

I also had it split after 6 months - Apple replaced it, thankfully, so there's that.

Apple should release the new material and colour cases to the previous gen of iPhones too!
I really liked the techwoven, and I'd buy one for my 16PM

Funny enough, If I bought an iPhone 17PM, I'd go with a Spigen clear case, to see the new color..

I stopped buying Apple cases when they stopped offering leather. Like others I love the brown leather case and how it aged. Now for cheaper than the plastic cases Apple offers I can buy a genuine brown leather case that looks sharp with the orange.

From what I've read, the new TechWoven cases seem to be a lot more durable than the old FineWoven cases. I'd like toe see Apple offer TechWoven cases for the iPhone 16 models, too.

Can you direct us where to purchase the leather case?

Thanks in advance.
Is this Ryan London?
This is the link to Amazon where I purchased it

ya no thanks, the cheap amazon cases that are like 10 bucks are the best anyways.
I agree, lots of cheap cases out there. I am happy with this one, it even has buttons on the side, not just indented leather. The leather feels nice but time will tell how it ages.

why does it start to feel like apple is just selling recycled trash back to their customers anymore? aluminum...probably from old coke cans, then fine woven from some old yoga pants.

Hm, I have never used a case on my iPhones. But the more photos of 17 Pros with cases I see, the more I feel that it actually looks better when the camera bump appears more like a „window“, especially when it has a different colour.

I always use a case with my iPhones, they are too expensive and a case can help when a simple drop could do some pricey damage without. What I do like about the 17 Pro Max case is there is a lip around the camera cutout area so your lenses are never actually touching anything when laying flat.

I replaced my green techwoven because the iphone 17 pro went a bit out top left everytime I took it out of my pants pocket. It seems with a bit of hit while walking it happens.

The second one, same issue. I got it yesterday, have 2 weeks to decide what to do. But they are not as tight as they should be top left.

If you have an Amazon account, you can get iPhone 17 Pro Max cases with camera control cover for as little as US$9.

The reason I posted is to know if someone here as a techwoven case with the same issue.

I know of other options, and even bought another one. But need to decide about this one.
