I can't see the rolex brigade giving up that level of status for an Apple watch.
The watch has been done. I like Apple, but this is following, not leading.
I'm a man with a very thin left wrist and a very well-developed right wrist.

Ever since I was forced to get the white iPhone 3G, I've had a penchant for white phones. However, I prefer the black iPad. Not sure why, just my personal taste I guess.
D.
Tablets, smartphones, laptops, mp3-players, they all had been done prior to Apple's entrance to the market. The watch has been done. I like Apple, but this is following, not leading.
Who on earth would want one of these when you can buy a Rolex?
For those of you who are married AND wear a nice Swiss expensive watch, how are you going to explain to your wifes exactly that it's a great idea to have your Swiss watch on one wrist (Which may have been a gift from your wife), and then it's great to wear an iWatch on the other wrist?
Be interesting to see the response of your wifes... and I bet your wifes would only wear one watch, iWatch or Swiss time piece.
Amen bro (or sis). While the iPod was not the first MP3 player, they revolutionized it. From what I see of the watch, there's little new. Besides, seriously, who wants a watch that gets 10 hours of battery life? My last watch that I lost had a battery that lasted a couple years.
It reminds me of a perhaps NSFW clip of South Park's "vote or die" episode (clip 104398) because it is almost comical to release this type of device.
I would just change the last line of the clip to:
"simply because the fact that the battery doesn't work renders it useless adding a parody slant to the satire."
I wouldn't wear both at the same time. Most likely the iWatch would be my daily watch, and my other watches with be for other occasions.

What? You have issues with Math?320x320px screen?
That's so they can sell you a Retina version the following year, right?
The age-old 'don't buy first generation anything' still holds true.
Sensible answer. Another question, if they made one out of gold or ceramic would you buy it? Or just get the bogo standard plastic model or whatever they make it from.
If the watch is clean looking, preferably round face, not square, with a frame that is not plastic. I prefer a metal and glass watch. If it came with a plastic band I would buy it, but I would replace it with a metal band.
These are my current watches. I really don't like the G-shock watches or other plastic watches. Unless it's for a workout.

Very nice collection. I don't wear a watch but I was given my fathers solid gold Omega, he passed away the other year. Trouble with it though is it's from the 1960's and has NEVER been serviced so is a bit rough, the dial needs replacing or renovating, it also has an automatic movement that needs a new spring and servicing.
I've looked into it and I can take it to Omega but it won't be cheap, still a hell of a lot cheaper then a new Omega!
I like this one, I would be entertained looking at the movement through it's glass back for ages, far more interesting than an iWatch:

I don't quite have the seven thousand six hundred sterling it costs though haha!

I love Omega watches, don't have that much cash. Personally I like Omega more than Rolex. That's a nice piece there, I would probably put a metal band on that one too, but of course selection of black metal bands is not as abundant. I like the "gun metal" color for a watch as well.
The watch is made from ceramic, first one for Omega and most likely why it's so expensive. But it looks fantastic, I like the old school traditional yet still modern looks of Omega's.
