So this is how (un)secure your data is
This has NOTHING to do with Apple's change to biometrics so that you can unlock phones by holding them up to the (criminals) face.... nope, NOTHING.
Haha! Dumbest (for multiple reasons) post of the year!I would like to see how many of those requests are from jealousy women.
I hope they are liberal with that data needed for locating missing children.
As a socialist, I feel the government is what we make it, and so it can be an instrument of good, if we are promoting the values of goodness ourselves. The government is us -- we vote for all of the powerful people in it.Government scum
Assuming each request pertains to an accountholder, that's well over 1300 devices each. Dang, those guys are pros......Busting up a stolen phone ring maybe?

But this gub'ment? Scum to the max. F' 'em. And that's not just an Orange Overlord comment. Things have been corrupt always, and now more than ever. It is up to US to put a stop to it.
That doesn't mean you represent with an (R) or a (D). It means you realize one basic truth: There are people whose net worth is in the billions and hundreds of millions of dollars, and they are the only people calling the shots right now. They have accumulated significantly greater wealth than the most corrupt of the Kings and Queens of Olden Tymes, in relative terms. Everything that occurs in business, economics, even culture and religion, is more-or-less at their bidding. These are the folks who are literally building compounds with private militias in New Zealand to ride out the coming Mad Max scenario, right now.
I think the question is, what're we going to do about it? Maybe for one, we could vote for people who tell the truth. Hint: Very few people in politics in the USA with a (D) or an (R) after their name are in this category. Period. Another hint: None of them have an (R) after their name, and literally a handful of those with (D) after their name do. So from an order-of-magnitude perspective, both parties are f'd. We either need to reinvent them, or come up with something new.
Thankfully, Apple is stepping up here.
Now lets all write congress and tell them how asinine it is for the government to prevent accurate report counts of such requests.
Remember the government claims that there is no privacy violation tracking metadata. These counts are simply metadata. So metadata publishing is bad for government, but perfectly OK for individuals and companies. Another case of the government not looking out for its citizens.
and...Germany takes the cake.
Check out the numbers for South Korea. 106 requests, but 139,134 devices.
Busting up a stolen phone ring maybe?
Only if your doing something that you deserve to be investigated, otherwise reality is you’re not that interesting. The math proves this total number of devices divided by the number of requests.Bottom line: Just assume you're under investigation and use your iPhone accordingly.
Does that include the freedom to do bad things? How are those people found in this modern society? Its 2 sides of thr same evil coin. All the government ever wants to do is force people to do things against their will. Especially socialism. Freedom is the only way to peace and prosperity.
Please, please never call 911 or whatever GOVERNMENT emergency number in your country cause it will prove you wrong. You actually think the government is there for its people? Wake up please.
