Good point, but in that case you’d be better off going for an Apple refurbed M4.
Also a good choice, sure.
I guess my point is: the M4 MBP is a really good laptop, and the M5 MBP will be a really good laptop as well, just even slightly faster.
Like, if someone asks, "I don't need to run natively, nor to play games; what I need a workhorse that gets stuff done efficiently", the M5 MBP is a no-brainer to recommend. There's not a whole lot of "yes, but keep in mind…" to it.
(The M6 MBP will probably be good, too, but if we assume it has a redesign, then that comes with the slight risk of issues.)
