I have the Apple 96 watt charger for my 14" MBPro. One could plug three USB-C charging cables into the laptop. Only need to carry the one charging brick. Recently, I have only purchased the 30 watt bricks from Apple partly because the international adapter kit allowed it to be used anywhere.
I kind of wondered how much will this second port be used on mine because I could just simply plug my iPhone into the MacBook. I'm not sure if the ports still stay powered when the lid is closed and it's sleeping. I don't see a negative to the second port even if I don't use it. Maybe it collects dust but scotch tape can fix that 🤣

Picked up the compact…. dont be so quick to get the compact over the regular one. Takes up a lot of room on a power strip with the way the ports are located. Probaby best for travel or an outlet by itself.

Especially when you can get an Anker Nano Pro 40 W dual USB-C charger for way less from an online retailer. And the Nano Pro is physically a lot smaller, too.

Ordered a compact 35W. Use Case: one cable to MagSafe Duo (iPhone & Watch), one cable to MagSafe Battery Pack. Translation: I like to waste money.

Will the new 35W Dual USB-C Port Compact Power Adapter charge the MagSafe Duo plus an iPad Pro (2021) at the same time? Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. The online Apple Store's chat told me the 35W Dual USB-C Port Compact Power Adapter should be able to charge the MagSafe Duo plus an iPad Pro (2021) at the same time. Hopefully others will chime in to confirm or refute.
