I like the Emoji Me app in the App Store a little better from the looks of it. Quite a lot of versatility.

I don’t really care about emoji or animoji (...).
But the point is: 1) the technology can have its applications, which are probably not yet seen (think games with your own avatar).
2) what is the point of having a more realistic (and far creepier) Animoji like Samsung? You probably want rather an Animoji which is cartoonish and far more creative.
3) for the naysayers- Apple probably far better understands customer patterns than any of us. Yeah- new hardware would be nice (and I am sure that Apple works on it), but this doesn’t mean, that they should not release technology which might be not be for the pro- yet strengthen their market position...

That’s nonsense, as the author did his own Animoji and it hasn’t been automatically curated by the device- and in my opinion, the Samsung thing looks far creepier!
