The App had some sort of problem with my credit card, so I had to switch to the webpage for using PayPal.
When the webpage came life, delivery had already slipped to 2-3 weeks.

A bit later Media Markt pre-orders came life and I've ordered one for launch day pickup.

So it's either going to be launch or 2-3 weeks later.
Media Markt hasn't been very trustworthy with pre-orders in the past, so I guess it's going to be November 21st to 28th for me :(

Do you know by chance how long it will take to get the second email (payment processed, shipping date confirmation) when you pay with iDeal/Paypal/bank transfer?

Took a while to get into the Apple Store app on my phone, but once I got in it took me a matter of seconds to confirm and got a delivery date of Nov 3. I'm psyched! I guess it helped that I was able to get a head start on Tuesday.

I did not pay with credit card but with dutch bank transfer (I've already been charged) but no delivery note so far...

Got mine from the Dutch Store. They said 2-3 weeks at order but I still have not received the email with the date confirmation... I think it'll take long...

Dutch store here too, kept closing and re-opening the Apple Store App from 8:59 onwards, nothing... at about 9:10 I opened Safari and saw that the store was up, switched back to the store app, still nothing, tried completing the order through Safari, but address fields etc. were blank, quickly jumped back to the store app again - it was up and running, sped through check out and got a confirmation e-mail at 9:15 for a 256‑GB iPhone X Space Grey, shipping in 2-3 weeks, delivered 20 Nov - 27 Nov. :-(

Is your card charged? Also it is telling me estimated ship dat 11/3??? So does that mean I might not get it on launch date?
I do the iphone upgrade program, so you won't see a new charge on your card. I received a notice later in the morning that the new "loan" was approved and the purchase now shows up in my orders on the app. Just took them awhile to show up. I got November 3rd date for the 256 GB space gray

I was able to order mine thru Verizon at 3:08 got a SMS from Citi
Nov 3rd Apple App was giving me problems choose Verizon Device plan
Apple Apple® iPhone® X 256GB in Space Gray

I am so glad I got in for the 11/3 delivery but was shocked to wake up this morning that its still at a 5-6 week back order, I truly expected it to slip to 2 months by now. I hope this is selling as fast and hot as we all predicted.

Exactly the same here, the email just arrived. 20-27 Nov, with order confirmation email at 9:12. They left just a tiny amount of phone for the NL apparently... :|

You’d think they would leave a few more for the Netherlands when taking in consideration that the first ever shipment of iPhone X landed at Schipol (and somewhere in the UAE) just a week or so ago.

Still beating myself up over blindly trusting that the Apple Store app would do the job, instead of having my laptop handy and constantly refreshing the webpage. :-/

Do you remember if in-store pickup was available? I rushed through the checkout too fast to see. I thought I saw someone saying they had 2-3 weeks or the option to pick it up on launch day, but that was probably in the States or UK.

do share more! =) please?

Sorry I didnt reply earlier. Basically, every phone provider has a loyalty department. If you call the company and ask them to put you through to the loyalty department, depending on how long you have been with your provider, they will give you a better deal on plans and products. I have been with my provider for 10 years and its the only one I have ever been with, s they looked at my file and offered me a plan that isnt available at a value go 95$ instead of what it would normally be, which is 130$. Then they also took off my remaining balance for the iPhone I had before which was 175$. Some people like to threaten to go with another provider to get a better deal, but I dont. They always just offer me really nice deals.

Mine as well. The smartest thing I've ever done is set everything up pre-last night with the iUP. Absolutely saved my bacon. I've posted before but this whole thing has reminded me how it felt in the "old days" for a pre-order.

I don't think T-Mobile models were available on launch. I was in at 12:02 and T-Mobile was already at Nov 10-17 (I'm on the IUP). I went back in after wrapping things up, chose Verizon, and it was available on the 3rd at 7-8 local stores for pickup and/or delivery.
I had the same problem ... ordered through the app before the website was even online and got the 10th-17th (1-2 weeks). However, I check the order this morning and it is updated to "delivers on 03 Nov" - that's both the 256GB silver and space grey models.

Pre-ordered my iPhone X 256gb Space Gray at 12:03am right away. Paid with Apple Pay. Standard shipping with delivery of November 10-17. T-Mobile had no pickup available at all.
Check if that hasn't changed. I had the same thing and this morning the T-Mobile ones updated into my account to "delivers 03 Nov"

Well after 15 minutes the site finally came up for me I got one wth November 17-24 delivery

Are you talking about Media Markt or Apple?
Media Markt won't give you the real date until they ship. Anything they show before is an estimate.
Apple is giving a range of dates. For me it's 21st to 28th. Sometimes they are faster than the original estimate and adjust it, just look at your orders.

Also keep in mind that I'm from Germany. Things might be different in the Netherlands.

yes, I did the app and the at&T app (which never got to ability to buy, just kept cycling 15 minutes periods that counted down to 2 and then restarted. The app apple, after about 14 minutes, managed to let me in but kept giving errors on mobile number authentication and SSN authentication, just kept popping up modal boxes with errors. I know that info was correct and after another 5 minutes to trying it went to BUY, then another 2-3 errors but it went through.

Dates of course were 11/10-11/17. MAYBe it will move up, but it seems AT&T phones from apple orders DONT ever move up

So after having problem after problem at the VERY start of pre order I was finally able to place my order through the at&t app. Two hours after pre order started!! I was really worried after hearing everyone on the forum say that carrier (esp. at&t) pre orders never ship out in the said time. Mine said delivery for Nov 3rd. Well I'm SO happy to announce that my phone DID in fact ship on the 2nd and last checked is in Jackson,MS on its way to me (I live on the MS gulf coast) Super excited to get my hands on it sometime tomorrow

Apple has taken its online storefront down in order to prepare for the launch of the iPhone X, which will take place at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time or 3:01 a.m. Eastern Time on Friday, October 27 in the United States.

In other countries, pre-order times will vary based on local time zone. Pre-orders will kick off at 6:01 p.m. in Sydney, for example, 3:01 p.m. in China, and 8:01 a.m. in the UK. For details on when pre-orders go live in your country, make sure to check out our post that lists all of the pre-order times.

Apple will accept pre-orders through the Apple website and the Apple Store app. T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon will all be accepting pre-orders for the iPhone X in the U.S., as will major retailers like Target and Best Buy. We've rounded up all of the third-party retailers offering pre-orders in the United States.

Pre-orders will be available from Apple in the following first wave launch countries starting on October 27: Andorra, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, the UK, the US and the US Virgin Islands.

Customers who are hoping to get an iPhone X on launch day should order as early as possible. iPhone X supplies are believed to be severely constrained, and available devices could sell out quickly, perhaps within a matter of minutes.

The iPhone X, which comes in Silver and Black, is available in 64 and 256GB capacities for $999 and $1,149, respectively. iPhone Upgrade Program customers will need to pay $49.91 a month for the 64GB model or $56.16 per month for the 256GB model.

Let us hope this problem does not occur next year for preordering and Apple technicians and engineers prevent this from happening. It appears the Apple Store app and its servers could not handle too many loads of preordering demands.
