Apple's Online Store Down Ahead of iPhone X Pre-Orders

Good night and good luck everyone, Apple Store App finally came up for me several weeks into November now.
2-3 weeks and I was right on it instantly. It's saying I have a 'reservation' and they have to contact AT&T? And are going to email me within 24 hours?
Does anyone know what the hell this means? It made me choose a carrier and I chose pay in full.

I have to give Apple credit. That was the fastest checkout I've ever been through.
I got lucky people. I had to fill out everything. Billing, Verizon verification stuff, etc. and I still managed November 10-17 deliver date. Incredible. I think I'll be satisfied with that considering all the rumors of supplies since keynote announcement.

I got my order in. Only glitch is that I'm out of town, and the app would only let me choose stores where I am for pick up, so I had to accept delivery at my home. It'll be great if I can change the order to pick up back home, but I doubt it. Also a bit surprised that I haven't gotten an acknowledgment email yet— the app and website say that the order is pending.
I wish they'd have said "We're going to refresh the screen when the app is ready, please don't close the app." I've been closing and reopening the app like a fiend since 11:59:00. Finally let it sit for about a minute when I went to go get my iPad and it JUST refreshed on its own and showed the "you're ready to upgrade" screen on its own. Nov 17-24, *sigh*, fine.
Naturally the site came up much earlier, but alas I'm on the iPhone Upgrade Program which apparently must be completed in the Apple Store app.

Got it. iPhone X, 256 gig, Silver, Nov. 3 confirmed. Apple Store App on iPad came up for me at about 9:05:15 am. Rushed through from favourites to confirming address etc. Finished order process at 9:06. Right after that I checked on both 256 gig models: delivery already changed to 2-3 weeks. So it didn't even take two minutes until the first batch was sold out (in Germany). Right now (9:21 am) all models still available for 2-3 weeks delivery.
So freakin' stupid Nov 23rd and I did it right when it opened up! The store didn't open until 12:10 am for me. WTH!!!! I got two but am going to cancel them both because it's not coming Nov. 3rd.
What an absolute joke.
I was on this like a flash - the earliest date was 18 Nov and then it just kept me in a loop asking me to reserve over and over
I restarted and it did the same but for 2 Dec
Tried it on the app and managed to get it through after several tries

Ummmm WTF is RESERVED??? I used my AT&T upgrade and it said Delivery 2 or 3 weeks I think it was and says because they can't get a hold of the carriers website I got a reserve number telling me that I will get an email with instructions on how to complete my order but my question is does the reserve preserve my order estimated delivery date? This is ****ing ********!
Before I could even get through the checkout process, I was quoted two weeks.
Luckily the Chicago/Michigan Avenue store was still showing as available!

Pre-ordered my iPhone X 256gb Space Gray at 12:03am right away. Paid with Apple Pay. Standard shipping with delivery of November 10-17.
