It’s 2019 Apple. No need to take the store down for updates.

It's not that they don't have the technical capability to do so, but it's just yet another way to hype the daily event. Rather than some random customer who doesn't know or care buying a new iPhone and then 5 hours later going "wait it's $100 cheaper now" or "for the same price I could have gotten x". Or people just going "Oh I should watch the event to find out what gets added."

Wonder if it's still running on WebObjects.

I almost think at this point it's kind of a tradition. It adds a tiny bit to the excitement, and keeps unknowing members of the public from buying a device that will only be "current" for an hour or two.

I disagree that you believe the laughs are removed and in defense of Apple, none of them are comedians :p. However, I agree the cheers and applauses are from archives from previous comedy sitcom shows as I recognized the laughter and applause :D.

First time since the iPhone 4 that I’ve decided I’m not upgrading at launch and will actually not cave and make the purchase. I’m excited for what’s going to be announced today but my XR works perfect and isn’t even half paid off just yet so no need to upgrade really. iOS 13 will make the phone better than it already is.

Super pumped for the iPhone 11 Pro. This is from an iPhone X.

Did anybody catch whether filming at 1x will rely on combining footage from all lenses?
