Confirmed Software/Hardware Updates to be announced today:

iPhone Plus (regarding price, not size): Hold it in your left hand, tap with right index finger.
MacBook: Number keys are now obsolete. Just type out the number using the alphabet.
iMac: Look up the 2009 model.....looks the same.
AppleTV: Same as 4th gen, just another inch taller.
iPad: See iPhone Plus
Mac Pro: New Kitty Litter Filter for the top. Most people in the office kept ashing in it.
Siri: All new Siri Shortcuts. Double Click Twice, Tap the Bread Emoji and Send. Saves you the trouble of saying "Please pass the breadbasket" at the dinner table.

iPhone 6 Plus, 2008 Aluminum Macbook, 2009 iMac, 3rd Gen AppleTV.....not replacing any until they flat out die.
Update cycles and the horse they rode in on.

Just wondering why there is always so much negativity on these threads? If you have that much disdain for Apple why even take the time to be here, let alone post?

Because no matter what some people will always find something to complain/moan about. Apple could release some great product and software updates today and some people would/will still find something to complain about.

I completely agree.

Today is incredibly important and meaningful day for those of us who live and breath Apple.

WWDC keynote day and the iPhone event are the two biggest days of every year for me. It's not nice that some anti-Apple people want to ruin it.

When checking the Apple website with Safari on my iPhone SE, the store link says, "We will be right back", but scrolling to the bottom of the page all of the individual store links (Mac, iPad, iPod, Watch, etc) are active, except one. The only Apple Store link that says "We will be right back " is the "Accessories" link, which would indicate that the new product(s) being introduced today at WWDC will be Apple Accessories.

But if you open on of the link, like Watch, then tap on buy you get the "We will be right back" message.

Yea, the store is down which doesn't usually happen at WWDC unless there are products, they could just be updated specs for the MacBook Pro's and nothing to get excited about.

Called in sick today and tomorrow! probably will use my vacation days Wednesday through Friday. So hyped!

It's always a good idea to use vacation days Wednesday, Thursday, Friday for a 2 hour keynote that happened on Monday that you can watch anytime you want.

The first few hours in the morning before a keynote are the LONGEST IN THE WORLD. My productivity takes a nosedive and I revert to crazy fanboy mode. Usually I'm somewhat critical of Apple but on these days, it's like magic, because I think "Maybe today is the day that Apple rights all of their wrongs!" In reality I know that won't be the case and I won't get everything I want, but it's usually a good step forwards and that's always exciting.

I've been a strong advocate for the iPad since day one and have always seen huge potential in it. I think it was around mid-2011 that I said that I could see the iPad becoming a serious computing device for getting work done within about five years. For some people, it has. For many, it has not. I hope that today is the day that people look back to as the turning point for the iPad, where it went from a mostly content-consumption device to a viable tool for all types of work. Where Apple drew a line in the sand and said "From this point on, we're taking the iPad seriously." A strong foundation for advanced iPads of the future.

"COURAGE" We will be back with a lot of "COURAGE " :-( i get it!

Apple is also rumored to possibly debut a 10.5-inch iPad Pro :- Macrumors quote

I am very excited to see this new 10.5 iPad.

Honestly, read your post. You keep repeating the word "Courage" in mocking Apple multiple times and then you stated "I am very excited to see the new 10.5 iPad."

I find it hard to believe you're excited to see the new iPad if you have bold lettering using the word "Courage" over and over again in your post. That just doesn't seems contradictory.

Why set yourself up for disappointment? This is exactly the kind of feature segmentation Apple has done in the past few years. My guess is that even the iPad Pro won't be "capable" of this. It will "need" an A11 chip.

Power has little to do to with Apple feature segmentation. It's about getting people to upgrade hardware. The 12.9 is powerful as you say yet there are features in the 9.7 Pro that the 12.9 doesn't have. Apple has been doing this since the iPhone 3G had a compass.

I've dived deeper into this and discovered an analogy with raising kids.
When you raise kids, there generally is a (dynamc) point where they hear you, understand, react, and sometimes even learn from you. The worse their general conduit, the better the slightest reward.
As an Apple customer instead, you'll never even have the slightest feeling of being listened to. Because the organization was designed not to have feedback channels (and the digital shredders behind feedback@apple.com appear to have capacity of galactical proportions)
Let alone the feeling of comprehension and/or appreciation. You are basically there to pay and shut up.
That absolute lack of empathy, combined with the enhanced necessity for feedback in things that go alarmingly wrong, leads to extreme frustration.
A rumor site like MR, in a world where the meaning of rumors is largely degrading (as 2 mammoth companies are balancing their immobile acts, where innovation has come to a stall because it is just a threat to their current business) essentially starts to function as a let-out, which happens to be just as dysfunctional as (short term) satisfactory.
And just as obnoxious, as no one really cares, especially not Apple.
So don't become the victim of this sad idiosyncrasy.

I don't get that opinion.

I'd rather spend $1000 on a used laptop, clamshell it and pair it with 2 monitors, than give up on MacOS. My workflow is so much better using MacOS than Windows.

I don't get why you'd buy a used laptop when someone wants a desktop.

Take a look at the Intel NUC Skull Canyon. It's everything the Mac Mini should and could be, and a hugely powerful little computer that puts the entire mac lineup to shame for well under your $1000 option. And it makes an excellent Hackintosh.

Does the kaleidoscope hypnotize you to buy more Apple stuff...?

Maybe that was Timmy's plan, but it didn't work on me. A quad core i7 mac mini would have done the job though. As would a modern laptop with a better keyboard.

Oh, does it? This is the only thing I wanted to know :D
