Are there any rumors to what the mac pro update could be? A redesign, a refresh?

Waiting on a compelling upgrade for my personal MacBook Air (11-inch, Mid 2013, i7, 8GB, 512SSD). From 2010 to 2013, I upgraded every year as the pace of changes was exciting and those changes were actually useful. Now, I use a 2016 MacBook for work which disappointedly has very similar specs and similar day-to-day performance--given it is 3-years newer. A MacBook update with 16GB RAM, 1 or 2 TB storage, thunderbolt 3, and TouchBar would likely make this a purchase today. Otherwise I wait another year or consider going back to a MacBook Pro--at least I would be familiar with the outrageous cost, as in 2008, I upgraded my last 15" MacBook Pro to dual OWC SSDs ... with a total cost right around $4k ...

I hope there is going to be hardware as rumoured, otherwise there will be some VERY disappointed people after the keynote!

I really hope we get to see the A11X in the iPad Pro. I'd rather they wait until the autumn if they can't do it now. I'd love to see an iPad crack 7500 or more in Geekbench multi-core. Although, looking at the benchmark history, an A10X could probably crack 6500 without too much trouble, which is still nothing to sneeze at. But it would be pretty weird to come out with an A10X right before the base model iPhone 7s or whatever is below the "Pro/Edition" gets an A11 that is probably just as fast and possibly even faster.

The store is down so there must be some new hardware today. But it may be an updated Macbook Pro only and the rumoured Siri speaker may just be announced and not available to purchase, we'll find out soon

hope it will not be boring as last year.
Right? I get excited about what they reveal, but there just didn't seem to be any energy or excitement on the part of the presenters. I mean, maybe they have known about this and rehearsed it so long that it is old news to them, but there just wasn't any energy. I was thinking last year that they should have just released it in a press release and let WWDC get on with its real business.

This is it for me, make or break. 2011 Mac Mini on its last legs. If no update then its Windows for the first time in my life

I'm going to guess you will be buying that Windows machine, i don't expect any Mac Mini. On the plus side you will likely come running back to MacOS at some point, the person next to me is a big Windows fan and gamer and is going down the hackintosh route as all his games have MacOS support and just cannot take Windows 10 anymore, he spent most of Saturday re-installing it all again after Windows 10 did some update and messed up his PC... again.... he cannot take it anymore. Its messing up too frequently, he can no longer just switch it on and game. Its update, update, break.

That is true, I think they may want to announce the iPad Pro 10.5 if they have some iPad specific features to demo on stage as well.

Apple doesn't do innovation anymore, they only maximise profit by doing what-ever gives them the most money and try to spin it by tacking a "positive" word to any controversive user hostile decision (a.k.a "courage").
Here you go....comment number one, or i would say...hater number one

do it baby!! show me the good stuff.

Let's hope the specific features is not drag and drop, I'd like to have that on my Air 2

This is funny.

I hope not to see "courage" today at the keynote.

Phil Schiller : “And we removed the screen from iPad! Yes, the screen!! Only Apple could do that. Can't innovate anymore, my ass.”
