Like many, I've been holding off buying a MBA for the Back to School sale, but after seeing these price hikes this morning, I just bought one from Costco instead. It wasn't the exact spec I wanted, but it'll do, and saved $350 from apple's education site. Still pretty salty about this.

Apple's Online Store Is Down

The online App Store going down will now become synonymous with price increases as opposed to new products. The next time the online Apple Store goes down we’ll see an increase in the price of iPhones - it’s just a matter of time.
