negative, no iCloud support. It supports pretty much everything but Apple services. Just a little advice, I would maybe move to something like google services (works just fine on an iPhone) b.c they are pretty agnostic when it comes to OS'. My iPhone is basically powered by google: calendars, reminders, email, etc can all be used with a google account just fine.

Thanks, I suggest you buy an Echo as it would be ideal for you - Amazon Echo integrates with Gmail and G Suite.

Regards

Why is everyone acting as if Apple does NOT have an iPad in their line up? Add a wall mount and what else do you need? Speakers? They got that nailed wirelessly I believe? I don't understand this selective blindness going on in the Apple press?

The iPad has 1 microphone, the Echo Dot has 7 the Echo show has 8.

I think this is why Siri is not as acurate as we would all like.

a mounted iPad is a far cry from an Echo. You would be surprised how good those little microphones are inside the echo.

The Echo can actually interact and do things via voice with 3rd party apps. Even if you mounted an iPad, you would be very limited in voice commands.
[doublepost=1494445875][/doublepost]oh, and the calling/messaging using a traditional echo is now live.

Thanks for the suggestion but we're happy with Apple ecosystem. Hoping Apple will announce a siri-like device to compete and connect. Echo is nice though

Cool, would be interested how that works with calling other Echo, Dot owners in USA - not live in UK yet.
