    Ok, so my iPod touch is dead, completely dead. I've tried everything and I can confirm that it is...dead dead dead. Now that's out of the way, I read some posts that if you trash your iphone, take it into apple, pay them some money, they give you a brand new one. I think it was $200?

    I'd like to know if apple have this policy

    A. In the UK?
    B. Also extend that same offer to iPod touch?

    FYI - My iPod touch is a 1st Generation 16GB ;)

    If you take your iPod to Apple, they'll replace it for you and give you the same exact model for £146.44. I personally would just buy a new iPod Touch. The first generation really isn't worth that price anymore, and I'd say you would be paying too much.

    @Crigger - Lies! :p

    @Word - Thankyou for the info and the link. I'll invest in a new classic ipod then probably. That link I imagine will provide useful in the future, thanks again ;)

    For old dead iPods they give 10% off the price of a new one in Apple Stores.
