Lighter, stronger and more shatter resistant than the X? Yep, I'm in. I don't care at all about the so-called 'wireless' charging. Total gimmick. Just my opinion, of course.

Agreed. Totally disappointed with this years phones. The prices are insane here ($1700) for a top end ex and the 8 + has a nobbled camera system, as well as the fragile glass back. The next ones will apparently all have face ID as well unfortunately. We'll see if OLED is actually ready for real deployment soonish I suppose.
