Does anyone know if there is any standing-room at apple events? Even a lobby with public access where you can watch on screens?

I just moved to San Francisco this week, and today I realized that I live 2 blocks from the event! Thought it would be cool just to be there, even if I'm not in the room or anything.

Anyone know?

I hear they barricade the doors and make the walls soundproof, so no luck, sorry.
:D

Dude with that luck you better GET IN THERE!!

I have a friend who gets in events when he tries.

Consumer electronic announcements can be "spoiled" now? What?

They've built a tazer into the new iPhone 6S so be really careful.

Thank you Macrumors! It is so my better to watch it without knowing what's gonna happen next. That's why I stopped to watch any movie trailers and trying not to read into Apple rumours.

Does anybody know how you can pause the live stream? (for more than 30 mins.). Quicktime will only allow pause for a short while and it will skip to the live stream when clicking play.

What's up, guys?

No fun in the spoiler-free-thread tonight? What is everybody doing right now? I'm currently singing my son asleep, which will hopefully be very soon. Then cooking for my wife an me, then I'll be hitting the refresh-button for this thread till I can fire up iTunes/the direct-link/Quicktime to finally watch the keynote.

Surprised that it's this dead. Just sitting at work for another hour until an appointment for the afternoon. Been successful at avoiding everything so far, had a slight scare when I opened Google News without thinking but closed it out before anything loaded. Pasta & Sausage with the stream once it's up tonight!

Thanks for the reminder!! I would have totally forgotten to do that.

I forgot as well, It's the first thing that ever loads when I turn my Mac on so I'll be unplugging the router to avoid the wifi until I can turn them off when I boot up.

I'm at work, shift started at the same time as the keynote! So won't have the chance to watch it until later on. Hopefully about 9pm (3 hours after it started my time). Is there someone going to tell us? I think this is the quietest this forum has ever been!

any way to stream right now from the beginning or do i have to wait until apple posts the whole thing?
