Do you own an Apple watch? I own the series 1, the Gear S2/S3, Moto 360, and the Huawei watch.

The Apple watch gets me through 12 hours of use and only loses around 20% battery. Granted it doesn't have an always on display though.
My S3 can come pretty close to this and it does have LTE. Android watches have pitiful battery life in comparison.
So please tell us, how is battery life challenging in the current Apple watch form? Hint: it isn't.
And how would new low power chips for the new Apple watch not keep us on par with current battery use?

I think you are talking out of your arse here, while I am deriving my input from real world use of Tizen, watch os and Android wear 2.0

That's how it behaves for you and your use case, it doesn't behave that way for mine. I can only imagine if I bought an LTE version and I'm constantly running into cellular coverage issues if I'm in the car, walking about time, or just sitting at home. Radio waves have to get through woods, walls, other EMR and that will drain a battery quickly.

I am willing to bet an LTE Apple Watch will still last through a day.

Fyi, LTE only turns on when no phone is detected. So, unless you plan to never have your phone your concerns are unwarranted.

This rumour couldn’t have come at a worse time for Fitbit. They are about to release their own smartwatch and news of a new Apple Watch redesign pretty much sucks all the attention out of the room.

What are the odds that Apple leaked the news deliberately in response to Fitbit?
