Sadly, Apple seems to have neglected its core business with distractions like Project Titan (about $10 billon and thousands of engineers over 10 yeares). Apple had the market to themselves and let it languish with Google and Amazon eclipsing Siri and home management. I use Siri as a timer when cooking - does a good job.

At this point the entire Siri team needs to be dissolved and rehired from the ground up. Embarrassing
Can we get Elon to eliminate the whole Siri team? LOL! Because at this point...they have been getting $200K+ per year for something that's been a mess for YEARS!

How can a product be delayed if it hasn’t even been announced yet lol? Sounds like normal internal company product development. No news here Gurman. It’s ok dude if you take a Sunday off from your Power! Whatever.
Even if it hasn't been announced the company had certainly targeted a specific time window for the release. If they are not going to reales it at the date they had originally planned to that is certainly a delay, regardless of whether they had announced the release date or not.

Better to get it right than to release something with major issues. Others, Samsung, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, etc., can get away with that, but Apple can't. We saw that with Apple Maps. If Apple had released a folding iPhone with a visible crease, it would have been called "creasegate."

Apple has no clue how to do AI. They’re majorly fudged. Apple, the mightiest tech titan, is starting to look like a slow-motion plane crash. It’s beyond embarrassing. Time to look for the walled garden’s emergency exit.
OR

The state of AI right now is the internet as it was in the late 90s. No company will get right what AI is because what AI is today is not the product it could eventually become.

Perhaps with the advancements in quantum computing in 10 to 20 years, we will have enough affordable processing power available to make generative AI the platform the hype makers of today pretend it has.

OR

That day will never arrive. And when the AI bubble pops, it'll never recover.

Apple may survive. It may not. But that's OK. No corporation lasts forever.

Gurman take this Sunday off Buddy. You are really reaching for news today. We all know Bloomberg pays its journalists on how much their articles move the stock price and that is how you pay your bills but take a break. Your stuff is getting silly.
That's really generous of you to give him his paycheque this week! I'm sure he'll enjoy the time off.

The same way you weren't delayed getting into Grade 8 when it was never announced you had passed Grade 7. You got there eventually though little buddy!

The release timing of this had been Gurmans guess work all along … and so it continues

Timothy is too busy with promoting Severance and Ted Lasso. Tim Cook’s lingered so long at the helm that he’s gone from visionary to villain.

Tim Cook = “You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain”.
Cook was never a visionary. He is supply chain. He will go down in history the same as that guy from Pepsi (or Coke, whichever it was)
