AirTags are a real product. If they were just for internal testing, they wouldn’t have a name like AirTags.
AirTags have a code name and a marketing name, and just a couple weeks ago, retailer sources gave pricing for them.
Not to mention, there is still tons of references to AirTags in the latest 14.5 beta. If Apple had canceled them, don’t you think they would have removed the code related to them?
The find my network is going to be very similar to the made for iPhone network. Apple sells cases, and headphones, and all types of iPhone accessories, but they also sell third-party cases, and headphones, and third-party accessories. It’s going to be the same for find my. You can buy Apple‘s version, or the cheap third-party version.
I don’t see what’s so hard to understand about that.

I think the tech bundled into other people’s products (like the Van Moof Bike), is more interesting than Air Tags themselves.

I think it will be nice for quite a few things, much as those are.

I was more excited about it before they did the even better thing of getting it bundled into third party devices. I presume that the Apple Personal Autonomous Drone will have Find My capability built in to help find where it parked itself.
I don’t know, I still see the point of it. I’d much rather buy a $39 tag to attach to my current bike, then buy a new bike that cost me a couple hundred dollars.

"spring loaded" is obviously a reference to suspension systems, which are used in cars, so Apple is going to announce the Apple Car on Tuesday (NOT an "iCar" ffs). You heard it here first. I win. I rule.

Also (and this is clutching at straws) the invite shows multiple colours. The new iMacs are rumoured to be coming in multiple colours.
There are supposedly a new spring lineup of iPhone 12 cases. The invite spring colors made me think of those.

New Apple TV please. They have to update it since there have been so many rumours and leaks and the current 4k model is from 2017.

Air Tags should be interesting to see if they're going to finally release them.

iMac refresh or re-design.

But let there be some product which is a complete surprise for all of us.
.

C’mon Siri - leak the details of all those unreleased products before next week. I dare you! :p

I know in the past Apple offered them, but I can’t help that the multi-color iMacs is the dumbest rumor in a long time.

Got my bong ready for 4/20
This is deeply offensive! I'm outraged that MacRumors would allow such a comment over the recreational use of a PLANT that's been legalized in most civilized countries. THINK of the individuals where such a substance is considered a high crime.

Ah but iPads come in multi colors already. Recently A15 production was rumored to be starting in May with products based around that in October. So likely some other products delayed until now expected. :)

I use the Costco system for predictions: Whats on sale from Apple? For a while its been 21.5 IMACS. Now this week its IPOD minis. So, I predict these next week (there could be others). Bigger IPOD Mini and 24 inch IMAC.

Uhhhhhhhh I wouldn’t do that if I were you. New iMac model identifiers were found in the most recent macOS code, and that is almost always an indicator of an imminent release. Add that to the discontinued configs of the 21.5” iMac, discontinuation of the iMac Pro, etc. There are a lot of signs pointing towards an iMac refresh that I guess you’re choosing to ignore. I’m not saying it’s a guarantee, but there’s certainly enough likelihood there that you shouldn’t be offering your life against it.
AirPods Max were referenced in 14.0 beta 1, released on June 22.
The products themselves didn’t officially release until December 8.
Same with The Touch Bar back in 2016, it was referenced in a build of macOS released in May, but they didn’t release until October.
Also, we could still be on 11.3 on June 7, it’s not that far away.
It would make sense too, since it’s the one-year anniversary of them announcing the apple silicon transition.
“One year ago, we announced that we would be transitioning the Mac line over to Apple silicon. And today, we’re happy to announce that our most popular desktop computer will now be running on apple silicon from this day forward.”

🤣

Some sort of flagship product in multiple colors, like a new iMac, or are those just for some new Watch bands or iPhone covers?

The design for the invitation seems a little too colorful if the main event is just upgrades for iPads Pro.

The spring logo looks like a cursive “e” I guess some education focus on the iPads as always?

I’d put money on iMacs at WWDC like when they moved the iMac to intel all those years ago.

Hopefully less ripping off The Postal Service’s Such Great Heights video this time though. 😉

that’s what I said about the iPhone XR, when it was rumored to come in colors.
And when I heard about the iPad Air coming in blue and green? I was like what the hell? This can’t be real.
But it is, and was, so I believe it.
