Seriously. Can't be as bad as this: https://9to5mac.com/2013/06/09/what-ios7-looks-like
Ooof ..
God that's hard to look at again.
Brutally bad.

It’s playlist artwork. Of course it’s going to be simplistic.So... bland! What a disappointing downgrade. I hope these aren't real...
Even if I’m wrong, maybe instead of judging a book by its cover give it an actual chance upon reveal at WWDC? But I genuinely don’t believe we should be forming our opinions based on playlist artwork, lol.If you're wrong, can we count on you to own up to that later today?

Yes, we need a design that takes full advantage beautiful retina screens.I’m bored of the flat look. Our devices have beautiful retina screens, we need a design that will take full advantage of that.
You must be joking. It's bland. I feel like the kid who says, "The Emperor has no clothes!" And here you are saying, "These aren't the droids you're looking for."It’s playlist artwork. Of course it’s going to be simplistic.

Am I the only one who thinks this looks cool?
I agree it looks very cool.Am I the only one who thinks this looks cool?

If this is true, you bet the older folks will want an option to put it back so they can actually see things on the screen.
Why not have the ui be just as vibrant and detailed as your content? The original iOS wasn’t intended for retina screens, but it looked incredible. To this day many people still prefer it over the iOS7 redesign.Yes, we need a design that takes full advantage beautiful retina screens.
...for content. Photos, videos.
Not to distract away from them with superfluous shadows and transparency.
Announcing a phone that size would make this the best WWDC ever.
Focus. Why not have the ui be just as vibrant and detailed as your content?
Focus.
Balance.
Versus visual overload, vulgarity and distraction.

Well, that is certainly not a "yes"! 🤣
I don't, I have a phone that's stuck on iOS6 and it's really awful. I think people are way too nostalgic for it because it's not in front of them and they only remember a few things. Why not have the ui be just as vibrant and detailed as your content?
