Not the same issues as op or other posters,

However I am getting apps crash, Namely Text Edit, Preview, & Gimp.
Then theres a few other weird things...

iTunes keeps asking me to read and agree with the terms and conditions before it starts up. Every time.???

Every now and again I get a message when shutting down, Saying I need to push the power button on the back to restart the mac???

And wallpapers...

It seems to keep resetting back to my Razer Wallpaper I used about a week ago...
It keeps forgetting the wallpaper folders I add in System preferences > Display options > wallpaper.

All very strange.

Anyone having any similar issues to these or indeed, Does anyone know what Im missing or if there's a fix?

Anyone with any fresh ideas on this as its still going on! To the point Im having to boot into Windows 7 as its more stable than Lion :/ Both os's are on my iMac...

Thanks for the quick reply fella!
Its seriously annoying me, I only have windows installed so I can use WinUAE
on my mac as Hi-Torro doesn't get along with Lion.
It really is a shame as when Lion OS X was working flawlessly, It knocked windows out of the water. Now Im having to go back to windows so I know when Im working Im not going to get any crashes, hangups or issues.
I really hope these issues get sorted with the next patch!!!

I'm in the same boat. I have kernel panics once a week and have switched back to my Win 7 machine for heavy computing. Apple is really starting to lose me. At this point I won't buy another Mac.

Everything Crashing

All my apps are crashing on 10.7.2 :(- and it doesn't matter what I'm loading at start-up. I get crashes in iCal, Contact, Mail, TWAIN drivers cause Adobe apps to crash, Microsoft Office 2008 crashing, Family Tree Maker 2 for Mac crashes - I've cleared out all the space I can thinking that maybe the OS doesn't have enough space to write temp files and so on - to no avail. I've got the latest patches on all the apps. I've never seen the Mac OS do this - not since OS 9.3 or so. This is really bad. I'm a lifelong Mac user and Windows - I'm sorry Windows users is far, far, far worse. The difference is that Microsoft began a program years ago to certify certain apps - the App Store I think is Apple's solution to this - though maybe not so much. I'm very dismayed with Apple. I wonder - and this is only theory based on reading I've done - whether or not Apple isn't setting the stage to unify iOS with the Mac OS and whether or not the early efforts aren't causing serious issues. I also think iCloud is causing a great many problems as well since they're building more and more components around it. Just my musings based on little bits and pieces I've picked up here and there.
