Chrome was just updated no iOS 7 look though. Has that gross 3d like icon. Same as YouTube. Looks so out of place. Angry Birds and Cut the Rope also had updates yesterday and today, no icon change or iOS 7ism
For Chrome, YouTube, and other Google apps, it's not an iOS 7 look, it's the look of Google iOS apps in general, which is unrelated to iOS 7 (and was already started coming to their apps before iOS 7 was even introduced/previewed).

They've been allowed to release their API's for a while now. Get off your high horse.

1) Based off of your response to the post you quoted, I don't think you understand the usage of "Get off your high horse."

2) He's right, Apple don't allow the submission of apps using the new APIs until the GM is released. Always the way it's been done.

Yup

How am I on a high horse?! Lol.

Also, apple only started allowing iOS 7 SDK submissions, using the new API's 2 days ago, as confirmed by various tech news sites. 2 days does not constitute 'for a while now'.

Out of interest I just installed Subnet Calc on my iOS 6 device. I can confirm it works fine, and looks fuuuuuuuuuugly. :-D

Another app updated

Just got an iOS 7 update for Gift Suggester

Android just got an update to their twitter app and it looks very very iOS 7-esque. I'm guessing the iOS app will look very similar, but they're probably holding out for the 18th.

So far, I've only seen ones that have changed to the new icons, which can be done easily with the old SDK kit. I'm yet to see any with the new keyboard or any of the new API's. Please provide links to evidence your claim.

The Units app and PayByPhone apps are updated for ios 7.

I had an app update that stated the reason was compatibility with iOS 7.

Yes, probably cos the problems the app has with iOS 7 could be fixed using the previous SDK, like various app updates released the last few weeks. Compatibility and using the new API's are totally different entities.

Until there's an app using the new API's out, then the ones using the new keyboard were either accidentally released before the 18th, or Apple decided the keyboard API wasn't a big thing to delay in reviewing.

Not sure why you quoted me, but if it's to give links to updated apps, there was a further post by me after the other person replied, so that convo is done, unless either app is using a new iOS 7 API other than the new keyboard?

you do know that the UI elements of the new "status/title" bar is iOS 7 specific right? So that makes it an iOS 7 API to use the new status bar.

I don't know what's on with shandyman.

I'm classing that as a tiny iOS 7 API, like the keyboard, thus either slipped past review or apple let it go as only a cosmetic API as it were. Now an app using a more serious new API will be the confirmation that Apple have full on changed their process with new iOS app updates.

If Apple had officially started approving app updates using all the iOS 7 aPI's, whereas the new Facebook, Evernote, etcetera that have been seen as ready to come out.....

Additionally the tech blogs would have it on their front pages about the roll out.

Tiny or not, just know that iOS 7 Apps are going through the approval process and its a fact that iOS 7 apps are released through the app store.

Yes, but as stated, could easily just be an accident. If it's an official all go, why haven't the partner Devs, like Facebook, Evernote, etc, who all have iOS 7 updates, not been released, as they would have priority.....
