The Hunt - Episode 1

I only resent buying this cause I can't get past the 2nd puzzle. Definite ego bust.

I've given up for a while, maybe I'll try again later.:(

Worst i have paid for - Sam and Max The penal zone!
Best (after mine of course) - galcon fusion

Twitterific - Used once, hated the UI and never used it again.
Monoply - Again, used once because I was waiting for my car to have it's oil changed. Haven't played it since.
Scrabble - Since I play Words with Friend's more often, this app is hardly ever used. Plus I hate the AI.

I definitely regret buying Angry Birds. The first few worlds in that game are incredibly fun and addicting but it just turns into a huge ball of frustration. I get more stress out of that game than I do fun. Maybe it's just me lol

There was this topdown vampire slayer game - iDracula or something. Man was that horrible! It was my first iphone game purchase and really turned me off of the iPhone gaming possibilities for awhile.

I've only playec PvZ on my Xbox where it is awesome :)

I bought 2 app from the same developer, both @#$%.
One was a tv guide that I bought because it had satellite listings, which they got rid of. The other a weather app that pretty much literally just had an icon for the forecast.. thats was it, waste of money.

SplashID - mSecure is Universal, retina graphics and less expensive

Bunch of task apps including Things, Todo, Taska - Going to settle with Omnifocus

Bunch of Twitter Apps - Tweetie (Twitter for iPhone) does it best

NetNewsWire Premium - Reeder runs circles around it

Bills on your table - Billminder has push, retina graphics and less expensive

Flight Update - In hindsight, should have gone with FlightTrack

Guitar hero - got bored after playing song after song (mostly same thing) PLUS online store doesn't work so you can't buy more songs: Your stuck with the default. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, even if you loved it on console.

Hipstamatic - When taking photo's in has a horrible border on some of them and aren't even full size when viewing back in Camera Roll on full screen :( Definatly disappointed, especially wasting money on all the in-app purchases - what a killer! :( :( :(

Modern Combat 2 - pretty ***p. Rubbish controls, waste of a fiver of however much it was :(

and lastly: Apple's

Texas HoldEm - WASTE OF MONEY! If your own an iPhone 4, horrible graphics; they haven't even updated it for Retina Display! I mean comon', FOR APPLE!

^^ There my four most 'unplayed' apps on my iPhone. Just giving you a 'heads-up' if your considering any of the above. :D

Can't believe all the PvZ haters, it is such a fantastic game. It starts off simple but becomes much more complex later on. Try not to think of it as a tower defense game so much and just have fun for once! The art style, sounds, and overall humor really make the game an instant classic. The gameplay is very fun on the iPhone (even more so on the iPad) and it's the first game I recommend to everyone who buys an iDevice.

Sometimes a game doesn't have to be impossibly hard to be fun, there is enough challenge in Plants vs Zombies even for the hardcore tower defense players. Mainly because it is not at all like most tower defense games and has plenty of varied mechanics as the game progresses.

+1

My fiancee has beat the game several times and the bonus levels are where the fun begins.

My regret is Spore.

Regret: Minigore (but it's free) and it's clone- Crazy John (too easy, repetitive).

On the flipside of dual-shooters, i certainly did not regret Solomon's Boneyard.

EPIC WIN just got a new update with ALARMS! EPIC RECOMMENDATION.

I wish the SplashData people put more effort into SplashID, since it does still need Retina Display graphics, and has a few minor quirks.

But here's what I love about SplashID: I've been using it for eight years and five different platforms: Sony Clie, Palm Zire, iPhone 4, Windows XP, and OS X. They keep bringing it along to each new platform, and the upgrade costs have been reasonable. There are many password apps, but SplashID has worked for me across desktop and mobile devices for almost a decade.

I regret...
Monkey Island 2 Special Edition
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/monkey-island-2-special-edition/id375901588?mt=8

It's a classic game, but I've not played this sort of game in 20 years and am no longer any good at it. I played for a couple of hours, have gotten nowhere of note, and now it sits, collecting virtual dust, in my games folder.

Battery Doctor
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/battery-doctor-pro-max-your/id340171033?mt=8

It was only $0.99, and I've used it. But it is a silly sort of thing. Not a big loss, but not the most useful app I've bought.

Doodle Jump
Ah, really? Besides the "fake" updates they deliver, I find it quite enjoyable. Definitely one of my all-time favs. ;)

oh man im glad i didnt buy plants vs zombies. i was on the fence between this and "cut the rope." good thing i chose the latter
Guess I won't be buying PvZ... which is probably for the better. :D

doodle jump
moron test
wolfestein 3d
the "mad-god-on-the-island" app.. forgot its name

best app i've bought? Angry Birds.... no doubt.:D
Moron Test gets old quick, but I love Doodle Jump. :)

imovie. Ive only ever used it once and that was just to see what its like.
I've used it a few times. It has potential, but it needs a bunch of improvements (updates) before I consider it a worthy app.

- iMovie: I'm partial towards this one. At first I didn't like the fact that you couldn't split clips within the app, but I believe this has been addressed already, though I haven't really had to edit any clips on my phone.
It's getting there, but needs more.

I love PvZ. Have it on Steam and iPhone.

Angry Birds however... what a pile of ****.
Wow. Angry Birds is the bomb! (at least for me )

doodlejump is worth the 99 cents...for me, it'd have to be flightcontrol
It's okay, but can get old after awhile. Worth $0.99, but nothing more.

Games I bought and played a couples times at most:
Enigmo
Asphalt 4
Bomberman
Dizzy Bee
Dizzy Bee 2
Parachute Ninja
De Blob
Minigore
Oregon Trail
NinJump
Toki Tori
Radio Flare
Doodle Jump
Topple
Soosiz HD
Fling!
WordFu
Durak
Labyrinth
Labyrinth 2
Line Rider
and COD:WAW Zombies

I don't seem to learn. Its worth it though. I usually only buy games for a dollar or so. I found enough great games to brush off the ones I ended up never playing again.

Also PvZ hatred is a tragedy I cannot bear to witness.
Doodle Jump and COD:Zombies are probably my two favorite games. Hmm... to each his own.

i dont really understand how people seem to like games like doodle jump and pocket god. They seem boring and repetitive.

Never tried and an never will try PvZ but from what I have seen it seems quite dumb.
Repetitive isn't always bad. Doodle Jump, as I've already stated, is probably my all-time favorite.

Agreed. It's a great app as far as design goes but it gets old FAST.
This. ^ Multiplayer needs some work as well.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148a Safari/6533.18.5)

The free mirror app. Me, being a dumb chick, "bought" it. Obviously it didn't work.

Monkey Ball and Enigmo. I can't even get past the first level in Monkey Ball and I reached a point of frustration with Enigmo and haven't played in after the first week. LOL

PvzZ and Angry birds are great games. Maybe the people disliking them are Hardcore Gamers. These kinds of games are aimed at the casual crowd.

I kida regret SplashID (kinda because I got it free on an offer). I don't use it anymore, I now use Lastpass wich is multiplatform.

Monkey Ball. I at least didn't pay 10 bux for it. Controls were just not good. Marble Madness is a much better game for that type game (though not as amusing in concept much more fun to play cause the controls work).

Sims: Just got boring quick specially for the price.

SimCity: For the price wasn't worth it.

pterm: Crappy ssh. I wish I had found iSSH first. Much better

I think there was some todo program I bought that I absolutely hated so much that I erased it off my computer even (so I can't remember what it was).

I used to agree that if it was made by a well known company it probably wouldn't translate well to the iphone cause of Sims and SimCity (both of which, particularly SimCity, I enjoy on the computer). And that the best games were made by no names (usually cause they were making puzzle games). But lately it seems that there are a lot of good non puzzle games (puzzle games being angry birds/trainyard/cut the rope) that are actually fun (most of these by GameLoft... Gameloft seems to be doing a great job of turning my iphone into a "gameboy" equivelant). Seems lately I've been finding good games for the iphone that aren't just puzzle games.
