thank you, do you like it?
i found the system icons on interfacelift.com, then i eventually found the adium icon on the extras page which linked to a whole set of application icons as well as an OS X skin for it

Yes it's cool. I'm trying to ID which apps the icons stand for. I think I see, Finder, iChat (or some IM app), Address Book, Mail, iTunes, iPhoto, and QuickTime. Not sure about the rest or if I'm even correct about the one's I guessed, but neat style nonetheless.

the order of my dock is, Finder, iChat, Adium, Camino, FireFox, Safari, Addressbook, Mail, iTunes, iPhoto, Toast, System Prefs, Word, Process (although its the icon for activity monitor), Delicious Library (although its the icon for developer's folder), Aquisition, Preview, Quicktime, Calculator, Applications folder, Trash

they have a pretty complete set of icons as you can see for the apps

Can you guys recomend a good web site for 1024x768 wallpaper?

that is a pretty standard size, you shouldn't have trouble finding something. (plus, if the size is only slightly off, setting your desktop display to "stretch to fit" shouldn't harm the quality in most cases) just surf around (goggle images perhaps) play with search entry phrases... I usually stumble into images that I use for my desktops on accident.
DigitalBlasphemy.com has some intersting desktops.
good luck.
