Do you guys sacrifice lambs and such? I love lamb. :p

No, but we occasionally sacrifice Kingsleys...I'd watch your back if I were you. ;)

Actually he's safe - lucky for him he's a Kingsly, not a Kingsley. :p ;)

But yes, we do all sorts of fun activities. Come on, join our club...

Mistakes are sometimes made, my friend. When the chieftains are looking for their next sacrifice, they're not picky about spelling.

Might have something to do with every jest containing an element of truth.
I guess you'd want to get one of these (something that appeared yesterday as well).

Some of the jokes were (too?) subtle. Jokes aren't as good if you have to explain them, but did anybody notice that the newspaper graphic on Page 3 was changed to look like MacRumors instead of a printed newspaper? Or the revised byline? Or "comments" changed to "complaints"? Or the implied pun "Tuneabout is Fairplay"?

Some "Macrumors bragging points" are still available for spotting the following:
  • The year 1984.
  • A set of mouseovers.
  • Suspicious "number of reply" counts.
  • A bit of programming syntax.
  • A bit of music notation.
  • The other wink to digg.com.
  • A pizza topping.
  • The name of an eighteenth century British scientist.
  • Grand prize: unscrambling the revised anagram.

  • The year 1984. The MCMLXXXIV at the bottom.
  • A set of mouseovers. "News & Rumors you can't believe" and "We can make up rumors as well as you can" (pointed out above)
  • Suspicious "number of reply" counts. The -3 on the Performa sale, the 0 on the A0LSp33k post...
  • A bit of programming syntax. The commenting out of "More" on the "Mac Programming" section
  • A bit of music notation. The Treble Clef as a shadow of the question mark...

(some answers above in green...) Yeah, I noticed a bunch of those, Doctor Q... just didn't figure on pointing them all out :)

Other Mouseovers: , "Wanton Rumormongering", "Unrestrained Balderdash", "April News & Rumors", "For those with a preference for non-obsolescence", "Support Materialism!", "Everything you wanted to know about Macs but were afraid to ask" "Flaming and Trolling"

Don't forget the other mouseovers on the navigation tabs.

And the anchovies. Or maybe the pizza topping you're referring to is the cockroach crawling out of the stack of newspapers.

There were four. You named two.

The third was "How many posts does it take to post a question about how many posts it takes?" having 99, since a member with 99 posts is one short of qualifying for "Regular" status.

A clue to the fourth: it's a "number of replies" that was set at the last minute, computed and filled in at midnight as April Fool's Day began.

The "moderators wanted" thread has the same number of replies as there are members...one for everybody!

BRILLIANT!! Well done guys! As soon as I thought I had it all, I noticed a bunch more. I look forward to next year :)

Name of new company.

Since App-ney sounds too much like apnea (a sleep disorder), the new entity will be called:

Disnipple

Focus groups found this name titillating!

"Which nipple? Disnipple."

Catchy.

How many posts does it take to post a question about how many posts it takes?

As many quesion posts as poster can post 'how many posts does it take?' posts!

Thanks guys (few days late, but good for a chuckle on a dreary tuesday!)
