Since upgrading to Yosemite, I can't seem to find Archive Utility. I had an alias for it because when I wanted to compress multiple folders into separate zip files, all I had to do was drag them to the Archive Utility icon in the dock and it would compress each folder as its own zip file.

But now when I click on the alias from the Launchpad, I'm told that the application can't be found.

    Anyone else have this problem?

I can launch mine from Spotlight but it doesn't show in Launchpad search.

It should show up if you do a Finder Find and add a rule to include System Files.

Also, if you CMD-double click on the search result, Spotlight will open the enclosing folder.

In 10.10, the Archive Utility is in:
    Code:
    /System/Library/CoreServices/Applications/
Good to know you can have it create separate archives when dragging multiple files onto it. Thanks for the tip. It might come in handy someday!
