I kept my AW8. I wear it when I need a smaller watch. And I haven't switched cellular over to my Ultra 2.

AWU2, S9, and S5 Ceramic.

The U2 and S9 are a bit redundant but got such good deals on both I couldn’t pass them up. I could be perfectly happy with any one of them.

Yes. I have kept my SS Series 7 for sleep tracking duty. I probably could get by with just the Ultra, but I can imagine me dropping it on the charger to top off and forgetting it.

I originally got the Verizon 45mm Series 8, but then decided to try the Ultra from Best Buy and am in love with the ultra. I have until October 16th to return the Series 8 to Verizon with the restocking fee, but I have considered keeping the series 8 to wear sometimes as well. What do you all think? Return the series 8 or keep it? I prefer the look of the series 8, but the flat screen and usability/battery life of the ultra. I need to make a decision soon. Thanks in advance.

I have an Ultra gen 1, and Watch gen 4. I use the gen 4 for work where the Ultra might get damaged. I love the Ultra. I can go a couple days without charging which saves a nuisance of packing a charger for a weekend.

I have an Ultra 2, Series 7 Natural Titanium and Space Black Titanium, Series 5 Ceramic, and Natural Titanium, and yes, I swap out my watches all the time. It’s nice that I can switch to another watch depending on mood or whatever I plan on doing.
It’s become quite an addiction.

I bought an UW2 (my first) at launch and thought I'd keep my S6 as an alternate / spare, but I haven't looked at it once since ...

The resale value is negligible, esp. as I have some screen scratches, but it'll go on eBay some day they do an "80% off" fees weekend.

I upgraded from a series 7 SS to the ultra2, and gave my daughter the series 7 in exchange for her series 5.

I swapped the series 5 for a refurbished watch at my local Apple Store at a cost of £89 as the battery health was down to 75%

I use the series 5 for sleep tracking and on occasions when the ultra doesn’t fit my outfit. These occasions have become much less, as I recently got adaptors to enable me use Garmin 26 mm quickfit bands with the ultra. These look much better than my old 44 mm bands

Upgrade from series 4 to Ultra 2 after 2 years of main mechanical watch. Bought the Ultra 2 in October and sold the 4, so I’m owning only one Apple Watch now: Ultra 2 battery last more than 48 hours for my use, with 2-3 12 km runs at week and always on the wrist the rest of the days of the week and at least during the night of saturday and sunday. In the last 2 weeks I’m wearing my mechanical on my left wrist and my Ultra2 on my right one so yes, I’m using two watches now :lol:

I've had similar with my AW8. I kept it for times when I wanted a smaller watch or for travel. I put it on a couple of days a week to justify the decision and there is one workout that I do where a smaller watch is more useful. After three days, my Ultra 2 battery was at 28 percent. I threw that one on the charger and put the AW8 on this morning. But yeah, it's not seeing as much use as I thought it would.

I will admit that the Ultra 2 is hindering my ability to wear other watches, I have a Series 5 Natural Titanium watch I wear for sleep tracking, but my Series 7 Natural and Space Black Titanium have been sitting there unused since I got the Ultra 2, and my Series 5 Ceramic always got used the least, so that’s still the same……lol.

I was wearing my old s7 for sleep tracking for a couple months after getting the Ultra 2, but fell out of the habit and haven't worn anything but the ultra day and night for several weeks now.

I decided to get a Series 9 Gold SS, but I still use my OG Ultra when I’m working out/on hikes. I hate the size of the Ultra for day to day stuff, but it really comes in handy outside!
