I ordered the 14 and I’m sad that it’s lower than the M1 MBA - the thing that I appreciate though is that this gets the same specs as a 16” for a change. No concessions on power. That’s huge for me.

Then their info is incorrect. That being said, looking at all the 16" M1 Pro and M1 Max entries on everymac, they all show "100 W h Li-Poly" for the battery capacity so maybe they have subsequently updated it to the correct value of 100 watt-hours.

Apple's tech specs also state "100-watt-hour lithium-polymer battery" with the fine print being "99.6 watt-hours"..
makes sense since my 2019 16" has the same. I was suprised they went smaller.
 
It didn't work that way with the 15.4" 2019. It gets worse battery life than any MacBook I have had in quite some time. So keep on being condescending.
That’s because they weren’t comparable models. 15.4” models had beefier CPUs which consumed more power. Now they have the same chips.
