i know people too. 1 person. there are probably, like, 0.05% of all the people who religiously refrain from going bigger, i doubt apple cares.

People related to business want smaller smart phones I guess. I really like 6s moved from 6 plus to 6s, 6 plus was way bigger for me. I used it for 1 year but then decided to go got smaller iPhone.

I'm hoping for a top spec 4" phone too.

I'm sure Apple could deliver one if there is a great enough demand.

Here is me, holding on to my 5s.

i understand that 5.5 is big. i have a 6 plus, and i'd go 6s non plus but the battery life for me (FOR ME) is a deal breaker. this thing is unkillable during the day. i've always wanted an iPhone that lasted like an iPad. i have it now and i won't go back. that being said the 4.7 is ok. they won't make another 4", it's just too much hassle

you don't need a top spec 4" phone because it has lower resolution and therefore lower processing power needs

Something akin to what happened to the iPod touch 6th gen could happen to any new top end 4" iphone, the cpu would be slightly underclocked, to make the performance about the same compared to the larger devices.

Hopefully we see a iphone 7 mini, that being said.

The iPhone 4.7 version is very easy to use. I honestly do not see Apple making a 4 inch phone.
