They all start out tacky and then chill out.
The Apple ones aren't "bad" they just are super overpriced and apple won't replace them.
Apple says the cases are designed to protect iPhone from drops, but what they don't say is a single drop will make the case unusable because of the sharp plastic that is exposed.
I regret throwing my money away at Apple's actual case for the 12 pro, (though magsafe was brand new then so no 3rd party existed). We're only getting 3rd party silicone cases this time.
