anyone heard of this site?

I have not.

With a third-party Magsafe cases have indication of the embedded magnetic ring on the inside of the case.

The only silicon case with Magsafe on Amazon right now is by elago. I have two of these in hand—the quality and feel is largely indistinguishable from apple apart from the missing exterior logo.

I really like this accessory company, their silicone orb-style Magsafe charger holding accessory is great with some modifications.

There’s a company selling more colors, some of them very cool, that claims theirs work with Magsafe. I have two of those cases in hand and they do not contain magnets.

I’m also finding that the cases this year seem better, less dusty and attracts less lint.

Co-sign. The last time I had an Apple silicone case was for my 11 Pro Max. I was not a fan, and the open lip at the bottom added to my gripes. But this time, I think Apple got it right. Less lint, nice feel and closed bottom near the speakers and lightning port. I am a fan.

I was skeptic, having had Apple Silicone cases for years.

Might still be placebo, but I have to say that it does feel different this year. Less lint (and it's a black case, it should show lint the most) and also material seems less sticky. Might be because it is still new. We'll see.

I have the black one too. Maybe I have less lint in my pockets, who knows? 🤷🏾‍♂️ haha. I still haven’t got around to installing a screen protector. I wonder how close a screen protector will be to the edge with the case on. I kind of like the mini deep dish pizza feel.

I ended up buying an apple silicone case cuz I actually liked the feel of them and i really liked the chalk pink after touching then in store. FF a few months and I dropped my phone the other day on our tile floor (panic ensues before picking up what I though was going to be a cracked screen). Nope. but the silicone case chipped in the corner. We're not near a store (and not even sure they are open right now with covid) so i called support since it says their cases are warrantied a year... nope... won't replace it. Jerks!

I would try again. It might just be my luck haha but I've never been denied a replacement! I called support and got my silicone case replaced right away last week. Granted in my case it was just peeling which happened on its own but still might as well try again.

They are fine if you can live with the fingerprint, grease and smudge problem on the back.

I tried to give voice to this before, you liked the comment. What you experienced is the truth: Apple is stingy with returns on their overpriced accessory business.

Check out 3rd party cases.

If I understand correctly, you dropped your phone (with the case on). The case protected the phone, but now you want Apple to replace the case under warranty?

Imagine having your bicycle helmet on your head during an accident and the helmet breaks... would you demand a new helmet from the manufacturer?

Just got a blue jay silicon for my blue mini 13. Found it new on eBay for $22. Have this and caudabe sheath in rotation.

Do you understand how warranty works? Most warranty's are for factory defects, not user's error.
