I was reading some of the comments on the poll, I noticed a couple of interesting things.

More comments were pro Mac.

Pro Mac comments were along the lines "I prefer Mac because...."

Anti Mac comments ranged from "Macs suck!" to "Macs are confusing", and my personal favorite "Macs suck. I use mine as an ash tray now. Anyone who uses a mac not only supports terrorism, but is most likely a descendant of Adolph Hitler. Mac users should be ashamed."

Hard to argue with such cogent logic.

Maybe we should start a poll on whether PC users have an inferiority complex.

That would be great. I say we start a poll and then all of us go support Mac and wipeout the whole PC hatred! What should the question be?

Do we really need "13. more satisfied with Mac"? Would we be here, purchasing computers that cost several hundreds more than their Windows counterparts (for a better design, OS, well, better everything I guess) if we were not satisfied?

I think Macs are better than PCs if you can afford them. I don't think there is any argument that says Macs are for the budget-minded individual (one could argue for the MacBook or maybe iMac... but generally speaking, you pay a premium with Apple). With that said, some people just cannot afford Apple products; and for them, PCs do just fine.

One other thing: I kind of like the fact that Mac users are in the minority. It makes it more special to own one. If every other person was carrying a MacBook Pro or had a Cinema Display on their desk, it would take some of the 'ooos and ahhhs' out of it.

Not sure what that says about me...

you sure that was a PC user or could it possibly be a (formerly) malnourished troll?

;)

Well, while it was my idea, I'm not sure actually posting a poll would be a good idea. It'll just fan the flames.

To a certain extent, you just have to let haters hate. Don't sink to their level, they'll beat you with experience.

couldn't have said it better myself! :)

sodahead.com is a pretty small site, of which you are apparently a member of.

So, you're here posting this same link to the same poll twice to either drum up membership on the site and/or get drones to help you in your comment flame war about the +/- of Macs.

Either way, 1 thread on this is enough.
