You're a funny guy.
Just being lighthearted. I wouldn't say that I have especially large hands myself.

It doesn't appear that a 4" iphone 6 will appear.
I do not consider 4.7" iphone 6 to be one-handed, which I find to be my usage pattern. The mockups make it as big as a galaxy s5 or htc one.
Any advice on how you've made the transition to carrying a phone that doesn't fit nicely in your pocket and requires two hands to use alot of the time? I feel it's inevitable so trying to hold out is a futile attempt at this point. Did anyone else swear by one-handed use and then somehow discover that it's not a big deal anymore? I've tried bigger phones and haven't yet appreciated them because of the what I perceive to be poor ergonomics, but it appears that I've got little choice but to adapt now!

I use my Nexus 5 one handed all the time.
You do realize that your personal experiences don't necessarily represent everyone else's right?
Um, unless you have small hands, these 4.7" phones are great for one handed use.

It also fits nicely in pockets without a problem.
It's only women's jeans that I noticed having a problem with holding phones.
You know us women are 50% of the population right. If you include children us small handed folk are the majority.
Screen size is paramount. If your screen isn't big enough to use the features of the phone properly, then it doesn't matter if you can use it one-handed or not. I can use my cigarette lighter with one hand, but I can't surf the web with it.
On a less sarcastic note, I used to web browse for hours on my iPhone 4 and had no problems with it. Perhaps due to age, or maybe it was web browsing on the i4 that caused it, but my eyes struggle with the iPhone 5 screen now. Sure it's ok for light use but my eyes get incredibly fatigued when I use it for longer periods. For me, a larger screen is absolutely necessary and I don't care if I have to adjust how I hold and use the device as a result. One can't have a larger screen without having a larger device, it's a matter of physics. There are plenty of smaller phones out there if size is your chief priority. OK they might not be top of the range premium smartphones, but smaller phones still exist.
I'm a woman with fairly small hands and I use my iPhone one handed frequently. Anything bigger and I'm sure I won't be able to reach the whole screen with my thumb. I'm not looking forward to a larger iPhone.
I have an iPad Mini for when I want a larger screen.

Yes, the 4" form factor is doomed and all of the dinky screen lovers will just have to come to terms with it. You can moan and groan all you want, but it will be for naught.
He was just giving his own personal experience. You do realize you don't have to inform people that their opinion is just their opinion, right? Man, people are so hostile on here.

True, but there are plenty of women who love oversized phones (e.g. Note, Galaxy mega etc).
I wouldn't want a phone that big unless I'm playing a game or watching Orange is the new black on the way somewhere.
For those times I'd just get a tablet.

Phone size doesn't matter for girls since they have purses.

One, yes that is only his opinion but the way it is stated was as if it was a fact. Besides, from the content of the first post, the OP has obviously tried using bigger phones but hasn't found them comfortable to use. Is the OP's opinion and personal experience wrong then?He was just giving his own personal experience. You do realize you don't have to inform people that their opinion is just their opinion, right? women and kids who where emo jeans don't like the bigger screens, since they won't fit into their pants pockets.
A lot of "girls" have told me they'd like a 4" phone for one-handed use.
As a guy, I like the 4" for one-handed use. My hand isn't big enough for a 4.7. So power to those girls haha. Why is girls in quotes?
It's just a habit I had in the Air Force. Whenever someone I worked with referred to women in our workplace as girls, I'd tell them that they were women, not girls. It kept them out of trouble.![]()
